Up and down. Been channeling myself creatively through writing and studying, so that’s helped, but even seeing a fraction of the current events section on ANY website can have me going from “I’m okay” to “everything is horrible and it will never get better.” Been emotional – lost track of how many times I’ve spontaneously burst into tears in the last few weeks. I want so desperately for it to get better but I don’t know how to have faith that it will because I’m not seeing any damn evidence.

A lot of different emotions seem to come and go.

I’m not, but my husband is. He has good days and bad days, but he really loves his job, and is pretty mad that he’s not able to work right now + stressed about money.

A little depressed, anxious, tense, lonely. And, mentally oppressed. Saturn is stationing on the degree exactly opposing my Mercury.

It’s like the world sees things in this one way, and I’m on the exact opposite side of it so I can see how awful it is. I know a lot of people are in a Kumbaya mindset right now but I can’t do it, I feel more alienated than ever. I think a lot of people are getting fed up, though.

I feel like I’m waking up to the true way power works in this world. It’s ugly. And I’m going to keep researching despite my internet mysteriously getting cut off while I visit a certain conspiracy site, or getting an unknown phone call at an odd time when I’m watching a conspiracy video. I feel like the puppet masters behind this orchestrated quarantine world are laughing at how our freedoms are being eroded and how the “non-essential” economy is tanking. Normal outlets for fun unavailable. I’m expecting all parks in my area will be closed indefinitely (so I can’t go hiking on my own because too many people just want to gather and hang out), and that everyone will be required to wear face masks in public, which I don’t even have (and I’m not going to make one unless legally required to).

Oh, and now it’s become cool to snitch on your neighbors, publicly shame people, and lecture customers at the grocery store for not following rules which change from place to place. Lovely.

Can’t wait to see the public shaming that comes down on people who don’t want to get vaccines with chips in them. (I hope they come up with a better method!)

What else…friendship is hard to come by. Someone I really could have benefited from talking to basically abandoned me. And my preferred presidential candidate dropped out and I dislike the creep I’m supposed to be supporting now (plus I don’t think he’s even mentally fit to be running).

I also got a speeding ticket a few days ago. I wasn’t going that fast but I was in another town where they’re more strict and I didn’t notice a speed limit sign, and I was only in the spot I was because I’d taken a wrong turn, and I could have avoided the whole trip in the first place anyway. If I pay online I probably have to accept the charge on my record, but the lobby is closed so I can’t deal with them in person to request a driving safety course either. Will probably have to go through various hoops to do that including getting a cashiers check. Just, terrible timing for this.

None of this matters though, my opinion is irrelevant, as I’m learning lately due to this Saturn-Mercury transit. What I do like though is North Node trining my Moon, which is teaching me to trust my intuition more. Chiron sextile MC/trine IC is also nice.

I echo your dismal sentiments.

Saturn is super conjunct, among almost every fucking planet, my Mercury (29 deg). The rest are conjunct my Venus (17deg). Also opposing my ASC.

I too was heartbroken to hear the suspension of a candidacy. With the other person clearly showing signs of mental illness, along with the current state of the county, it’s surprising how the suspension took place.

I’m also butt-hurt that there are rules being enforced that aren’t even legal. I cannot go to parks after certain times, I’m being told to social distance or face fines. Being unemployed, as many are, how can one pay fines?

Next it’s Bill Gates to the rescue, shoving vaccines in orifices, because he wants to be a hero. Ask people in certain parts of Africa if he’s a hero…..

My guts have been stomped. Heart crushed. With all the shit going on in my personal life, much more has forced itself into my home.

One a side note, there’s chatter of a General Strike. I’ll take my depression and anger and turn it into something productive in some manner: keep up my garden, get better at hunting, etc. A Master’s degree isn’t going to do shit at this point.

I never realized how much influence Bill Gates has before all this. It’s incredible.

Good luck with the productivity. I’m working on channeling negative feelings into that, too.

Dad has no use for Bill Gates. Something about how Gates stole an operating system and made a lot of money from that.

(He–Dad–has about 40 years experience as a computer programmer and systems programmer.)

I ended up caving into pressure and making a mask out of an old pillowcase. Even though it’s not legally required yet, interactions in public are awkward enough as is and I feel silently judged for not wearing one, since so many people are, so that’s an extra problem I don’t need right now.

I got the initial step of the ticket dealt with today, even though it did turn out to be a terrible pain in the ass, but I’m grateful I was at least able to get it done.

I’m not holding myself to what I said up there about productivity. I am only committed to maintaining my own sanity, right now. But I do need at least to figure out a home workout routine (my friend recommended one that looks good).

I hear you! Just read an article that my Governor is mandating that large retail stores block off certain “nonessential” items, saying “if you’re not at the store for food or medicine, you don’t need to be there.”

I’m not so afraid of the virus anymore. I’m starting to become afraid of what’s happening to our freedoms (at least what little we COULD enjoy.)

We’re in lockdown indefinitely here in California, & I’m very depressed. My bf & I are both out of work because of COVID & don’t qualify for unemployment because we’re self-employed. He is almost completely out of money, so I will have to drain my savings to support both of us, which I resent. I want to work, but I’m not sure what I can do right now. I spend most of my time cooking & cleaning & trying to be somewhat cheerful for my daughter’s sake.

Occhineri, are you sure you can’t file for unemployment? I was looking at that here. They definitely were offering it, due to these circumstances.

I’m really sorry you’ve taken such a hit. It’s &%##$ed.

I did file, but I don’t think I will get anything. The system isn’t set up for freelancers like me. They always ask for proof that I just don’t have, so coming up with alternate documents is challenging. What I really want to do is work, but I don’t want to take a job that will endanger my family.

My state Kentucky is a allowing some self-employed to collect. Definitely Medicaid insurance is offered. I thought it was allowed for a change in federal guidelines. States are behind in processing unemployment insurance. My state has processed 87% of applicants, after moving 120 additional people to handle the influx.

Also, the “legacy” computer system in my state was not programmed to handle cases that are now covered. Some incorrect denial letters were sent out before they were caught, by hand.

Please try again. Try Medicaid, income based, too.

My daughter & I already have Medi-Cal, so that’s good. I’ll eventually follow up with the unemployment. While I’m pretty good at navigating bureaucratic systems, I despise them. Sigh.
