Sweet!

Lots of cooking problems lately. Not so much that things aren't turning out, but they aren't turning out as intended. I bought a different brand of chili powder, and now my chili is too spicy for the kids (though still delicious). I put away individual servings in the freezer for my husband and myself. Then I was rushing through baking a cake today, trying to get it in the oven before leaving for an appointment, and forgot an ingredient (buttermilk) - it turned out a lot denser, almost like brownies. I had to start over after I got home, but I'm saving the messed up cake for something else. Maybe I'll crumble it and use it as a topping.

Nothing I have now is because of luck. Some people think that, but I know it’s not. Some of it seems like happenstance (it’s grace) (which happens when you’re on the right path), but it was hard won. What I’ve been experiencing is just labor paying off. A lot of toil finally paying off. Feels similar to luck, but it’s different. This is a little different than a high tide. 

^^ we finally got the courts/law to get the theif gardener/landscaper to pay us back our money; since we keep all the records and papers/money transfer/bank statements and official contract/letters. He is ordered to pay, so he got the official court letter but then, our car was scratched the next day. >_<  oooof. rage for not wanting to pay back and probably needs the money. sheeesh we aren't a bank to give out money unless he wants to do work and earn it. (we even gave him almost 2 years chance to pay back in installments if he was out of work and can't pay back half or full, because it's over 10k) my husband was willing to accept installment. but this theif also lied alot to the lawyers and said he would pay back but didnt. shhheesh.  EDIT He probably thought that we wouldnt take it to court and hire a lawyer. Because he might have done this to many other people. most of his clients are elderly too. So i'm guessing if he's so non chalant about not paying back or running away and not doing the work, he can fraud other people too. Hmmm. many people dont bother and just let it go. He probably got upset my husband wasn't gonna give up. he doesn't like this kind of behavioiur and will take him down. (of course like i said he would give chances)

Today was my papaws birthday. November 16 1934. My dad’s, dad. I didn’t know he had a Pisces Moon ❤️ Both of my grandfathers had a Pisces Moon actually. 

My papaw had the Sun conjunction Venus in Scorpio square Saturn in Aquarius. I wonder what that was like. He also had Pluto in Cancer trine Sun/Venus. And Mars conjunct Neptune in Virgo. Interesting. I sure do miss him.
