My shin hurts a little bit. I glance down at it and realize the doctor has put my foot in a normal position. LOL, it's been so long, I forgot how this is.  It's using new muscles / my brain needs to rewire.

Glad you're healing so well, Elsa!  Your incision looks so clean and perfect! (if there is such a thing)  My Dad had the same surgery and recovered well even at his elderly age.

Hope you get progressively better!

That is really impressive! You wont be able to tell anything happened when that heals (scar wise!) What a great surgeon!

No one can understand what a life changing surgery is like until they have one. You don't realize until you start to feel like you actually should. You get used to feeling bad, or get used to pain. It becomes a part of your life that you have to work around. When they fix it and you heal....its surprising to realize what feeling better, or good, or normal is.

I am so glad they found the issue and have fixed part of it. When they are finished you are going to feel like a new person.

Good for you Elsa! You deserve to be able to move around pain free! Here's to pain free movement!!!! My mother says the one thing she regrets (she's pushing 80) is that she didn't do it years and years ago when she could have or should have. She is in horrible hip pain and its really the only thing that keeps her down some days.

Speedy recovery vibes sent your way.... take it easy!!! heart
