When I try to look at my son's tik tok, I get this:
"To protect users from unusual network activity, we use Captcha to verify that you are not a robot."
It's laughable. I am supposed to prove to a robot that I'm not a robot.
As I robotically drag the puzzle piece into the puzzle, I wonder.
My son is losing interest in in tik tok. I'm glad because I'm sick of the little ritual.
It's a gatekeeper, I suppose. It's weird how this stuff is all around, when people used to just go out and ride their bikes all day or maybe go the park and throw a frisbee.
Nail on the head, as always!
After all the times in my life of having to detect fire hydrants and crosswalks, I've never made the connection that this is more robotic than probably most things I do in life.
Being more human sounds like a good intention for November. Lately I've been drawn to the idea of adopting a puppy - I think the personality scores results have created a big shift in me to be more nurturing like my results dictate.
I'm pretty sure IG hates me. Or at least their algorithm is programmed to mess with me.
Just thought I'd mention, the YouTube vanced app (apk) is great. It came loaded on both my rooted tablets, by different sellers. Spares you all the (silence, insidious) noise.
