Anyone?
I don’t know if I’m a good one to measure scarcity. I don’t go out of my way, usually, to buy items. Meaning, I rarely drive all over town looking for something and rarely buy online.
There is one thing I was looking for that I can’t find in my grocery stores and it was there. It’s rye flour. I will get some online and that pisses me off a little lol
We’re usually pretty simple with stuff. Sometimes a thing will be out for awhile, a cereal, a certain flavor of something, and then it will pop up. I’ve had to come home and tell my husband, they’ve not had this or that for a couple months. One was Belvita chocolate filled breakfast bars and one was large size Captain Crunch (🤭 yes, my husband likes his particular things sometimes).
For a while it was the store brand 2 liter seltzer. They had a sign saying they couldn’t get CO2 for it. Meanwhile, the brand name (and more expensive) was sitting right there.
But milk, eggs, fish, meat, etc. seem to be ok.
I can’t speak to any hardware, appliances, or parts stuff right now. Good topic. I will add if I come across anything.
I like what Elsa said about the dogs, lol.
I think my “wanting to get together with people” is a short commodity right now. I’m turning down two events because I am not feeling very much like socializing now. I’ll get over it but I am declining these.
I feel very much in my head, despite being here online.
I’m trying to think of something that won’t come off as a narrow, faulty world view…
There’s a scarcity of letting children play on their own, without over scheduling. I don’t know the name for that. Scarcity of free time.
Good driving. Remember who has the right of way. Know how to go through 4 way stops. Know how to handle a round about.
