I think I understand what all the squares and oppositions in her chart mean now. Has anyone seen her “Green New Deal”? Its her plan for America because we have to save the planet which, according to her, is going to end in 12 years if we don’t get rid of fossil fuels.

The Green New Deal is “a 10-year plan to mobilize every aspect of American society at a scale not seen since World War 2 to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.”

So in 10 years she plans, in part, to:

Get rid of Nuclear energy. All traditional forms of energy must go.

Build high speed trains across the ocean and end all air travel.

Rebuild every building in America so its energy efficent.

Even cow flatulence (which is methane) has to be addressed as an environmental problem.

She is a true zealot that is so incredibly misinformed about everything, its breathtaking. Its no surprise that most people are opposed to her ideas. What is surprising is that some Democrats support this plan.

lol

i usually enjoy female comedians like carol burnett, ellen degeneres, lily tomlin, julia dreyfuss, but she rubs me the wrong way ;p  she kept going on and on.. it got tiring xd

but it’s really nice to see a female lead role in the political realm.

Both political parties completely lost in a fantasyland that I want no part of. Why is reality so out of fashion?

Because reality is not binary.

Reality is not black and white. Reality is not Left and Right, Dems and Reps, men and women, old and new, or any other One or The Other.

As long as people insist on seeing life, and living life, in binary mode, NOTHING will make sense, or improve.

Reality is out of fashion because reality is shades of grey, millions of colors, continuums, spectrums, overlaps, co-existing contradictions, etc.

Reality does not lend itself to sound bytes or memes.

Reality is not THIS and/or THAT.

Reality takes time to understand, to discuss, to explore, to explain. It takes willingness. It takes effort.

All those are out of fashion.

Until people are ready and willing to break out of their binary boxes, fantasyland will continue to reign supreme.

Agreed.

All things are absolutely but we should live as if most are not.

An absolute: jaywalking is illegal.

At 2am? No. 2pm? Sure, busy traffic. Doesn’t seem to matter is other countries overall, but some view them as “poor”.

Conservative talk show hosts are having a field day with this woman and how “ridiculously stupid” she is (Glenn Beck’s words for her).

Is it true that she expects to get rid of all air travel, 90% of cars, and gut all buildings in this country to be redone with energy-efficient materials? In 10 years? And she can’t name the 3 branches of government??

Oh man, no wonder Ann Coulter thinks women should not be allowed to vote! 🙄

That’s what she says and the Democrats running for president are on board, despite her being short on facts.

She is necessary to bring balance back to the center in government. Personally, I like a lot of her ideas, even though I know they aren’t practical. Our government has swung far to much to the right, so we need those ideas from the far left to move back to the center.

I didn’t realize y’all were so conservative!

Well, she got voted in. Obviously many people like her ideas, or they wouldnt have voted for her. All I can say is that I wouldnt have voted for her. But I dont live there. Thats how our system works.

People voted for her because she was a fresh, new face.  They had a representative, Joe Crowley, that was a real slug so they gave her a chance.  She doesn’t care about her district, their vote was her springboard into politics.  Look how far she’s gone in such a short time.  She has national ambitions, not local ones.

Its hard to know why people voted for her. People lie even when asked about their political stance. I know that noone on Earth knows mine, not truly. It might be hard to believe that someone could actually agree with her ideas, but I wouldnt be surprised.

As far as her motivations, thats also something thats hard to assume. I guess even if she was just trying to make a name for herself, she wouldnt be the first politician to do such a thing.

Not trying to be contentious, just a Libra here, gotta add a pebble to other side of the scale.

I said it before and again now…. she is a product of the American Education System. Especially since the Department of Education was established.

Kids simply are not taught the basics. They are taught how to pass a test, how to organize and protest, how not to offend…. instead of thinking creatively, gathering facts, and treating others as you yourself want to be treated.
