Saturn natally in 8th house Aquarius. First return January 1993 (second pass after going retro) I sobered up and have been sober since.
next return is January 2022.
It taught me that with hard work, I can attain things that previously didn't feel attainable. With Saturn conjunct Neptune, this was important for me to learn.
Both my 1st and 2nd Saturn returns (Saturn in Scorpio, 2nd house) were very hard financially and emotionally (my natal Saturn conjuncts my Moon). I look back at both of those times with dread, but each of them made me a stronger person able to face anything life throws at you.
To let go!
Interesting! I checked out my progressed chart. At my first Saturn return my MC changed from Aries to Taurus. With the upcoming Saturn return next year MC will change to Gemini.
Hello,
I survived my first Saturn return in Capricorn, which was exact in 2018. I had lost my job and a long-term relationship, so I had to deal with the scars. However, since the relationship I had left was an abusive one, I spent a lot of time drinking in pubs in order to restore my lost freedom. The toughest part occurred in 2019, when Saturn opposed my Sun and conjuncted my Asc, and eclipses triggered a storm: my current partner (a Cancer Sun/Libra Moon/Cap Asc) was diagnosed with MS and had to get hospitalized twice. Result: I am still recovering from it all.
