Yes, he's not going to say anything. He never tells anyone anything, really. But in this case, he's afraid if he tells her, she will talk about it even more.
She's really telling him her life story. Like now we know she twirled a baton when she was ten years old. He's dyin'.
Has anyone seen the series, "The White Princess"? She is like Henry VII's mother. Very strong character.
She has a son and is the same with him as the series depicts. I met him too. He's a lot like my son. They are both very young and they're both engineers. So it's weird. She's like me but not.
I can relate to this story! Im an early degree Sun in Taurus/Aries In Mercury Person.The mere thought of bucking up against someone as stubborn and mouthy as myself, well this is what you would call a Mexican standoff!
Well she continues to preach about astrology. She is consumed with his understanding that it is not *bad*. Because of Catholicism. She explains her grandmother taught her - this was in South America. They would plant crops using astrology but also track the tides... when to go get clams and such.
I don't know how my husband endures this without tipping her off but he does.
Perhaps he doesn't tip her off b/c it would open another entirely new line of conversation and she would be off and plodding. It sounds like his only sport in this may be to game it a little. I'm a "poly-Taurus" with Merc Aries, but I am not a talker at all. 12th House. Don't like admitting this b/c I like people, but it's not unusual for the thought to flit through my mind "God, please get me out of this...", when I'm pinned down. It's simply unbearable.
This saga continues. The gal continues to talk to my husband about astrology, all day long.
She is now explaining compatibility to him and about how he has a moon.
He told his usual claim... "I'm Taurus, through and through. I'm triple Taurus, all Taurus, nothing but Taurus."
"No, you're not..."
::rolls eyes::
He's told her repeatedly, he's not interested in astrology. He does not disagree with it, he knows it was part of the church, he's just not interested... not at all interested but she continues on and I'm talkin' ten hours a day.
If you're sign is in the most beautiful part of the year (the peak of Spring), I wouldn't want to move either! Who wants to move when you're sitting in beautiful flowers, green fields, and shady trees!!? 😆
I can see why Taurus doesn't want to move, it's like 'wanting' to move out of a beautiful garden. I mean, who wants to do THAT?
