I have my north node at 15 degrees Gemini in the 3rd house about 5 degrees from my IC.

that means my south node is 15 Sag. My Sun is 17 Sag, my Jupiter 20 degrees Sag exactly on my MC. That’s a lot on my south node and opposite my north node. My Ascendant and Descendent square my nodes. On the positive side my moon at 16 Aquarius and my Mars at 12 degrees Libra aspect my modes well.

My nodes have been on my mind because I’m going to have my nodal return soon, and the lunar eclipse and full moon today aspect my nodes.

how does one make sense of having so many planets conjunct the south node, particularly the Sun, Jupiter, and MC sitting there with it? Should I be trying help others shine instead of myself?

what are your thought on this?

jeng35, I'm about to post a topic on the North Node so was checking first what's on the forum linked to the nodes.

The nodal return is normally an important fresh cycle that begins for the person...in your case your 4th and 10th houses are likely to see cycles of some sort ending and starting, I'd say.

I've met very important people during my nodal returns (a key ex and then my now husband but my nodes are on the Asc/Dsc axis) even with the reverse nodal return (not sure this is the right term.)

With those planets with the South Node these are resources (Sun, Jupiter...) that you might have brought into this life from the past, like things and resources (confidence; vision; religion or philosophy) and people (e.g. sun = father or a male boss; jupiter = benefactors; children; MC = some public role or something people know you for...) that you tend to lean on quite readily (because they are effective, easy, familiar, 'I've got this' kind of empowerment.)

With Sun, Jupiter and Sag energy with South Node at the top of your chart you would indeed be able to model for others 'shining' and 'believing in yourself', I think. Good stuff!

This is in my view (not the only view of course) regarding what the placements with the South Node mean.

North Node Gemini energies and lessons around communication and fact or information finding/gathering around the context of the home/family/emotional foundations (4th house) is where your lessons this life time seem to be...

So perhaps communicating within your home/family or exploring emotional patterns from the past via a family tree project or holding deep family conversations or reflecting on family past and present...while you model 'how to shine' to others, including to your family/close ones?
