Any thoughts on this placement?

The textbook interpretation is that the person is a natural psychologist. I have Pluto in the 8th, natally. I have good instincts and read people pretty well - with some notorious misses, courtesy the Venus Neptune square in my chart.

Overall, I'd say a person with Pluto in the 8th would not shy away from depth or taboo or other 8th house-ruled areas of life. But you'd have to consider the whole chart to determine what the extent of a person's interest and involvement might be.

One person with this placement, I know, and still know, is very sexual. But there's a subtle sexuality about her. It isn't the cheap, Hollywood, plastic, 'sexy', that you get. It isn't pornographic; there is an undercurrent of sexuality about her. But there's also a 'va-va-voom' energy to her too! It's hard to describe, even with words. She's obviously 'sexy', but there's a naturalness about it. She's also very into the occult and some gory stuff.

I have this placement and it would have been good to use it as a therapist or astrologer. I gave it a shot but it didn’t pan out.

Instead, all that energy turned inward.  (Moon conjunction Pluto).

I have Pluto in the 7th conjunct Saturn and Mars in the 8th, all in Leo. My relationships with others, especially intimate ones, are deep and long lasting. There aren't a lot of relationships, only a few stand the weight of time. A partner with me has got to be able to and want to dive very, very deep for a long time.

This Leo triple conjunction or stellium squares my Scorpio Sun-Mercury in the 10th House of Career with Chiron in the middle of that Scorpio nest. A lifetime of digging into the past and finding meaning to be shared in many public ways is charged by a Jupiter and and Venus conjunction that trines Pluto. Drama for drama sake was my early motivation; but as I age the meaning for the passionate expression becomes more and more important.

Blogging (Mercury) has become a way for me to express and share the long term reality. It's taking plenty of time to understand how I function and that I also must have a way to get to the edged (Uranus sextiles that Pluto from the 6th House.)

I count my Capricorn Moon in the 12th a lucky pearl, because I need cave time to survive, and Neptune is in my 9th to trine the lot of drama and digging. Softening the edges.

Shiny Taurus had this placement, square Venus, opposite Jupiter, trine Mercury.

Years before we got back together, he was the webmaster for a site that sold sex. I kid you not.  (Now if you want to find cheap easy women, there’s Craigslist for that. ) I think he basically did this job for the money.

(Side note: I’m not thrilled about that, it is what it is.)

Pluto in 8th house types are transformative, from what I’ve heard. I’d say this is true. I feel like he kind of brought out the badass in me.
