I think my mom got diagnosed with a life-altering, chronic illness around 37.

I got a contract at my work (finally, after almost 5 years of waiting) and my mom died 10 months after that. It's been hard, but I have found such strength in me, I grew a lot, but I also become colder toward others, resilient, and very independent. I'm still in the process of my Nodal Return, so we'll see what else is possible.

I just found this out ... my stepmother met and moved in with my dad around the time of her nodal return.

My Nodal return was last year. It sucked horribly, but retrograde t. Pluto was simultaneously squaring my n. Venus. I went through a shock of betrayal and it took me a year to get over it.

I did get a raise and promotion at that time though. I was focused on my career- one year out of grad school.
