I can think of one, a close friendship.  Her Moon in my 8th house.  I'm an 8th house Sun, and my chart is weighted toward that quadrant (7th, 8th & 9th houses - doing things with others for various purposes/benefits to each).  She felt mothered - in a good way - by me, she said.

Ultimately, though, I was not actually her mother.  And I couldn't fill in the blanks left by her mother, who died when this friend was around 18 or 19 years old.  For example, her mother was wealthy, and lavish in providing expensive quality clothes.  So I guess she was processing her grief (many feelings, mixed together) for her mom, through that friendship.

8th house is about sharing resources, so it makes sense to me that she could derive some 8th house oomph from having her Moon in my 8th house.
