Chiron - Where Is Your Wound?

I have a pretty interesting Chiron, I think anyway. Right at the tippy top of the anthill, and Saturn/Mars is the kid with the magnifying glass. I am intrigued by the idea that Chiron is the healer and it's opposite would be the wound. In my case, this would be accurate. My home, my family, it's a thing lemme tell you. Also I am a classic case of "failure to launch". I am stunted (self-inflicted) in many ways.

I also want to add the t.Chiron spends the longest time, about 8-9 years, on two axis (1) Pisces/Virgo and (2) Aries/Libra.

So it is likely that Chiron has more to do when it comes to these axis (Pisces/Virgo or Virgo/Pisces). This doesn't surprise me because Pisces is the last sign in the Zodiac, the end, and Aries is the first sign, the beginning.

Thank you so much. Both 6th/12th and Pisces/Virgo and Aries/Libra are applicable for me in natal/composite etc. So this is super helpful. Chironic (yes, I made that up :)) relationships are somehow extra meaningful and connected to emotional growth.

Another question. What are your views on the ongoing Chiron-Black Moon Lilith conjunction?

In January Lilith started a new ~9 year cycle, and her immediate brush with Chiron in Aries, and the Nodes has probably revealed her many characteristics. t.Chiron-t.Lilith conjunction will soon start to separate, and Lilith will ingress Taurus in October.

All I’ll say about Lilith is that she’s greatly misunderstood because she represents so many characteristics, even her mythology is complicated. So what you see as representative of Lilith may not be what I see; generally I don’t see things the way most people do, on many fronts.

But it’s worth considering that the bible is ~2,700 years old, and perceptions ingrained for that length of time can be hard to change and strangely met with great resistance even anger.

All day I’ve had this lingering thought, "how do you actually balance or how do I get/achieve balance?"

The simple answer is with Libra.

Libra is the only zodiac sign that is represented by an inanimate object – the scale – a symbol of divine balance. The Universe, could not have been more clear that the path to balance is Libra; in any situation not only for Chiron Axis. In other words, look to Libra to help bridge the gap either internally or externally (e.g. through synastry). Even the glyph for Libra is symbolic, do you see the Greek letter of Omega (the end, time, electrical resistance etc.) on a perfectly balanced plane? Look again.

Libra-Glyph.jpg

Libra is particularly important for the generations with the Chiron in Aries/Libra axis, not only because t.Chiron is currently in Aries and at some point those with natal Chiron in Aries will have a Chiron Return. But also because Chiron spends the longest time in Aries, approximately 8-9 years (along with Pisces).

The Aries/Libra axis, is unique because the path to divine balance, Libra, may in fact be the wound; the very thing I’m suggesting is the essential tool for attaining balance may be the source of the wound. In such case, we might be reminded that Libra rules Venus, and perhaps there are other characteristics of Venus that can be used to heal the Libra wound. Like striving for self-love in a relationship with oneself to overcome a wound caused by relations with another. The example, used in post #13 is of this dynamic. Whereas, if the wound on the Chiron Axis is in Aries, calling on the scales to balance may not be met with as much difficulty. As always, the house, aspects or patterns with other planets in the natal chart can color the Chiron Axis in Aries/Libra.

Thank you to all of you who have responded, and allowed me to entertain this idea. I know it’s contrary to many traditional teachings which I have a great amount of respect for. But what if there’s much more beyond what we think we know or have been taught to think?!

Libra and Venus are bound to Aries/Mars  - and Scorpio/Pluto.

An emphasis on balance magnetizes Plutonian destruction and rebirth. The shadow side of Libra/Venus is Pluto.

The Chiron wound can be fleshed out in the relationship between the Lunar North Node (the Spiritual/Solar unconscious) and the Black Moon ( the instinctual/emotional unconscious). Getting those two facets of ourselves working together moves us closer to Chironic healing - but often involves much painful elimination and destruction of Lunar South Node and Black Moon opposition point behaviors and emotions.

We are dragons moving thru space and time - looking for what we are hungry for - but that hunger shows itself most urgently when we have eliminated what has already been digested.
