Weekly Forecast: May 4-8, 2020 – Full Moon In Scorpio

wickedThe full moon in Scorpio takes place early Thursday morning. A full moon in Scorpio is decidedly powerful, but this one looks to use its power for good, for transmission and transition. It’s an emotional tuneup with reverberations in attitude and perspective: a paradigm shifter.

As we head into the week, Venus has finished its square to Neptune as Mercury conjoins the Sun and both begin sextiles to Neptune. Longing has improved our values and desires whether or not we fell prey to the illusions or the pining.

So bright it burns closes our eyes. When they open, we are grounded but simultaneously able to see beyond the mundane. The desires that remain can be tempered with a depth of understanding and wisdom as Mercury moves into trine with Pluto and Jupiter. Our judgement improves, or at least the possibility is there. Mercury then moves into square with Mars, so putting that judgement into action could take some jostling and experimentation to perfect.

Monday and Tuesday, the Moon moves through Libra. It opposes Chiron on Monday, conjoining Juno. Relationships continue to be highlighted and the mood may be challenged by the pettiness of others. Tuesday, the Moon squares Pluto, forms a grand trine with Venus and Mars, then squares Jupiter. Social ties are strong and influence the collective mood which reflexively affects us as individuals. Find creative ways to connect that ground those airy desires (Uranus in Taurus is helpful here). Experiment with doing new things in old ways or old things in new ways. Also, it makes good sense to be frugal.

It should be pleasurable and the challenges can pique our appetites. Find a way to communicate that gives good value.

Wednesday, the Moon in Scorpio squares Saturn then opposes Uranus. It’s a redirect to simmer down but pay attention: enlivening even as we’re pulled up short.

Thursday, the full moon opposition culminates early. It takes place directly on the heels of the exact Mercury-Neptune sextile. The Moon goes on to oppose Mercury with Mercury in applying trine to Pluto, the Moon’s sign ruler. This has signs and miracles written all over it, but the biggest news is personal change. Scorpio Moon is always personal. This is about each of our own personal phoenix story. Yes, this is happening in the collective, but each of us encounters this energy in a deeply transformational context unique to our own story.

Everything is in place for success; but even with all this good stuff, metamorphosis takes intense energy and shakes us to the core. Go with it. Don’t fight the tide. Lean in to the change and download the new plan.

On Friday, the Moon hits Saggitarius for a rebounding disposition. Optimism and a generous, freewheeling mood can provide a lift after such profound connection to that powerful full moon. The Sadge Moon sextiles Saturn. You can feel free when tethered in some circumstances. You know that whole “hold me back, hold me back!” thing. People are feeling their oats but still aware of the gravity of the situation. If not, someone WILL hold them back for their own good as the Moon trines Chiron and quincunxes Uranus.

The full moon takes place at 17 Scorpio with the Sun and Mercury at 17 and 20 Taurus. Where do these hit your chart?

Your quote: “Everything is in place for success; but even with all this good stuff, metamorphosis takes intense energy and shakes us to the core. Go with it. Don’t fight the tide. Lean in to the change and download the new plan” has influenced me all week long. Metamorphosis is hot stuff:)xxoo Thanks!
