Weekly Forecast: January 14-18, 2019 – Mercury-Pluto, Deep Understanding

Lara Harris for elsaelsa.comVenus in Sagittarius has been advancing in trine with Mars in Aries for a while now. This Friday the aspect perfects. The energy lingers into next week as Venus pulls ahead. We want to move and keep moving. We strive to reach for our desires. In doing so we may find we get ahead of ourselves.

Venus moves toward conjunction with Jupiter and square to Neptune. The aspects won’t be exact this week, but they’re building now. Cravings emerge and rise in intensity. Desire finflates as we long for something currently intangible. Whether it’s ever possible remains to be seen.

It’s not that the desire itself is questionable. Sometimes a particular outcome just isn’t in the cards; sometimes it will be… in the future. It’s also possible to get the spirit of the thing without the specifics. In that case, what’s needed is a change in attitude, Mercury’s territory.

Mercury in Capricorn moves into conjunction with Pluto, exact Friday. The senses, the mind, and communications meet in deep, powerful, transformation. It’s a powerful emetic for the mind and a tool to clear the decks of attitudes that don’t suit long term thinking. Earth shaking realizations are possible. Deep understanding is likely. Something is set to rise from the ashes when we burn down what no longer suits. That something has staying power. It has wings.

The burning down happens in our minds, our senses. It can be tangible or metaphorical with tangible results.

Look deeper at matters that are important to you. It’s possible to grasp things in a way you never have before. Early in the week, Mercury sextiles Neptune. Communications, senses, and information are divinely timed to spark this train of thought. Open your mind… gently. Divine inspiration is never forced. It’s a light flush of recognition that solidifies.

Monday, the Aries Moon conjoins Uranus for a motivating jolt to the mood. The Moon then moves to Taurus, Venus-ruled. The general mood sweetens and slows. However, Venus involved with Jupiter only allows it to slow so much. The Venus-Mars trine keeps things pleasant, and mobile.

Tuesday the Taurus Moon trines Saturn and sextiles Neptune. It goes on to trine Mercury. The earthy mood provides a great backdrop for the work we’re doing with Mercury. It also lends a sweetness to the bittersweet actions of Venus. It’s a pleasant sense of ease when you take things slowly.

Wednesday, the Moon finishes up in Taurus with a trine to the Capricorn Sun and a sextile to Chiron. We can feel where we genuinely are growing up and learning, and if not – we’ll feel that too. But just enough to push us a bit… into the right direction. We are learning about being our authentic self. The Moon then moves to Gemini and the mood picks up speed and interest. How do you feel about what you think? You’re going to want to talk about it.

Thursday, the Gemini Moon moves into opposition to Venus, then Jupiter. They form a t-square with Neptune, even as the Moon sextiles Mars. We want to know more about these desires that make us feel such stirring need! It is internal… and we also get prompts from others… and the timing feels divinely directed… even in its awkwardness. We get the opportunity to connect on a higher level. Act when you feel compelled. Wait for the window to open and jump through it.

Friday the Gemini Moon quincunxes the Mercury-Pluto conjunction. There’s jangle in the mood, but it’s to your advantage. It moves us to understand fully. The Moon goes on to quincunx the Sun as the Sun sextiles Chiron and squares Uranus. We can feel that change in the course of our life, and that it must change. It’s a good thing.

  1. I’m glad I waited until just now to read this, because even a few hours ago, some things would not have resonated the way they are now resonating.

Thanks once more, Satori, for all you contribute to my life. Deeply appreciated.

  2. THURSDAY: “…we also get prompts from others… and the timing feels divinely directed… even in its awkwardness. […] Act when you feel compelled. Wait for the window to open and jump through it.”

Bingo! I HAVE been served a prompt by others! The timing does feel divinely directed (yes, and awkward). I do feel compelled to act. I SHALL jump through the window!

Woohoo! Here goes my everything! 🙂
