Weekend Love Forecast – You Know Better, Now DO Better: Sun-Pluto Powers

morningThis weekend the Pisces Sun sextiles Pluto as Aries Mercury and Venus square Saturn. There’s persuasive power of personality present to swing the people to your side, but the current terms seem less than ideal. Mars closes a trine to Uranus while squaring Chiron, and the Sun squares Mars. Advocate and work toward future goals with power and passion, with the expectation that the details and rewards will get worked out over time.

You know the right thing. You know what you want. You’ve got some ideas about how it might all swing together. The energy is there to line up the ducks. But here’s the thing: You can’t eat the elephant in one sitting. This weekend’s bigger story plays out over time.

Jupiter is stationed retrograde. It hasn’t gotten any momentum in its retrograde yet, so lets allow for some pause in the larger narrative. As it turns, it heads back into sextile with Pluto and opposition to Pallas Athena (pattern intelligence). It trines the Sun.

Look at your habits. What do you cling to? Are they advancing your narrative? Do you think your habits are part of who you are? Do you fear to release them for fear of losing touch with your SELF? They are not who you are. They started as expressions of self but lost any semblance of life once they became encoded as behavior patterns. Look at that. Do they serve you NOW?

This can be an excellent time to see their fossilized fragility and BREAK out. Break them. Saturn square Mercury and Venus makes it seem hard. It’s not hard if it’s time.

Pallas opposite slow Jupiter shows where these habits involve our relationship patterns. What do we do over and over that makes a pattern in our relating? A pattern that hurts us, hurts our relationship story. We can walk back over what is habit and clear it for a new story arc, one that grows our connection rather than dries it out and makes it fragile.

Address the patterns. See them. The length of the habit has no merit. It doesn’t create value nor does it create difficulty. That’s in your mind. It creates an illusion of permanence that clouds our dynamic ability to advance. When you’re ready to smash it, smash it. Walk away.

The longer it’s been with bad habits, the more ready you may be. Don’t get stuck. Power through! But do it when you feel it’s right. When you know it. Solidify your aim to smash it when readiness shows up.

Do it for YOU. And rejoice when you see your ability to be free, even when you’re still caged. Rejoice! Your freedom is lined up, ready to grab. The relationship doesn’t have to be the cage; it’s the habit that imprisons. Keep the relationship, eject the cage.

The Moon moves through the end of Sagittarius Friday night – Jupiter ruled. It moves over Mars and through square to Chiron, trine to Uranus. Move your body! Feel where you need healing and electric change.

Saturday the Moon hits Saturn ruled Capricorn and moves over Saturn into square with Venus and Mercury. We can feel “in our bones” where we’ve solidified to our detriment.

Sunday the Cap Moon sextiles Neptune, conjoins Pluto, and sextiles the Sun. This is solid power to change how you do things. Don’t waste it!

What are your weekend plans? Do you have any habits in relationship or personally that are on your mind? How about habits in relating to others? Is there a pattern you long to break?

  1. Great post, and oh what timing.. Yes! My husband and I have a habit of never going out, since we have a 14mo old. Tomorrow we are leaving him with my parents over night for the 1ST TIME and taking time to ourselves. Talk about freedom and it IS scary, but I’m finding comfort in your post to just do it already!

  2. I have sun and saturn on gemini sagi axis and the first 10 degree along with natal venus in cancer at 7 degree.

With the current transiting saturn opposite my natal venus and thie mard/venus making a square to my natal venus my personal life has so screweddd up that i cant define. However there is something that i have learnt through this transit when one aspect of your life is not working out LEAVE and concentrate on the other aspect. God closes one door but open the others.

I so glad that this has made me focus on my career which has taken off extra ordinarily well.

Sometimes you just gotta leave things on God.Some things are not met to be for you.

I must add i have the Jupiter trine natal jupiter sextile natal mars happening this year. Along with chiron which is makin a sextile to my natal moon. Learning and moving ahead in life is the theme for this year. Grateful

  3. Hi Satori! This postvis uncanny as I have been thinking about trying to break to breakout and for new habits lately! I have Pallas Athena in Aries and she’s getting restless but I know I have to take my time. Also I love what you said sbout the relationship is not the cage, the habits are. Those habits though are killing my present friendship I have and had with my ex for 25 years! We live together, a lot out of necessity and his kindness, so we need to change things before it blows up in our face a second time. I do keep suggesting things but he’s not interested. Patience and time may be the key, if I keep trying and don’t get pushy. Also some of the placements right now sound a bit like my natal chart (Saturn and Merc in Sag in the first house) and time passing and having to wait for things, has certainly been true for me. Thanks for a very good post on how to proceed forward and reminding us to breakout but not too hastily.

  4. Love this. ” And rejoice when you see your ability to be free, even when you’re still caged. Rejoice! Your freedom is lined up, ready to grab. The relationship doesn’t have to be the cage; it’s the habit that imprisons. Keep the relationship, eject the cage.”
We all have a cage of some sort, and it is so easy to get in the habit of looking through the bars rather than beyond them.
