Friday night, the Pisces Moon conjoins Neptune highlighting Neptune’s square to Mars. It goes on to sextile Pluto overnight. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been experiencing cascading confusion and decision paralysis over what IS happening and what to do about it. There was a lot of talk and plenty of options for action (Gemini Mars), but I got stuck out of the flow. And I wasn’t one bit surprised.
Venus moves to conjoin the Sun in Libra and both oppose Chiron. There are valuable lessons to learn here if we choose to slow down and shift gears. Sometimes those lessons pay a little now and a lot more later. Take what you can get.
Saturday night, the Moon in early Aries conjoins Jupiter and heads into opposition to Venus. While Mars-Neptune motion matters are still strained and salty – cloudy with brine – the mood is more than capable of stretching a good feeling into a delightful time. It’s a Mars mood, and action feels good when it touches Venus. It’s air on fire! Of course it feels… GREAT. It feels big and exciting anyway. Who knows what it means.
Sunday morning, the Moon continues on in opposition to Venus, and Venus still heads into the Sun. The Moon also conjoins Chiron. We are invited to take part in a dance. These are two active partners with a balance of skill and beauty and an excess of either grace or wild card moves. One side is a bit rough but has originality and variety in its skill set, as well as an ace in the hole. The other side is practiced and lovely, creative and proud; but don’t think they’re easily bested: they can match every move with one of their own… and put a cherry on top (backward and in heels).
There’s no winner or loser in this dance, but it IS competitive. One may be trying to win, and one may be trying to not lose. When the dance is performed correctly, it creates a positive new force entirely – art.
When the Aries Moon opposes the Libra Sun to culminate their full moon opposition, the greatest action is the one that connects both sides of the dance. Can you end your need to win at the expense of a greater good? Can you co-operate? If you can, it’s magic.
The full moon takes place on Sunday at 16 Aries. Where does this hit your chart? How are you experiencing this Mars-Neptune business in the run-up to the full moon?
You described exactly what I’m experiencing. Trying not to lose, backward and in heels. It’s hard to cooperate when I know someone is trying to gaslight me. Everything is at stake. Is it worth it? That’s what I can’t figure out. Just trying not to burn it all down until I take some time to sort it all out, and can get ahead of my emotions.
“I’ve been experiencing cascading confusion and decision paralysis over what IS happening and what to do about it. There was a lot of talk and plenty of options for action (Gemini Mars), but I got stuck out of the flow.” – this, exactly. Mars tr in 2nd house but mercury/neptune 12h placidus. yikes
