Thinking, Writing, Creativity

I finally found my mind today, I’ve missed it.  I was writing at a great clip a month ago, before we moved the site. I had stuff loaded 2 weeks ahead, both blog posts and newsletters. This was unprecedented on this site and I admit that my Capricorn-side loved it. Posts for a rainy day, see?

Usually, Capricorn gets trounced by Mars, Mercury, fast and reckless.  But all the sudden, I had 30 or 40 writing ideas and I was methodically going through the list, making something real and tangible of whatever potential was there.

My memory is so bad, I wonder if I would recognize my notes when I finally got back to them, seeing as I’ve not paid them any mind for a few weeks now.  And like most creative people, sometimes I get to wondering if my ability might completely dry up.

I figure, probably not. I have written non-stop for going on 13 years, but you know. People are living in their house for longer than that, right before a hurricane comes through and their house is g-o-n-e.

Considering Uranus and Pluto are transiting my natal Mercury, I don’t think it would be wise to take my thinking or writing for granted at this point. I live in hope.

  1. “I live in hope.” ***i hear ya*** Saturn is parked on my natal mercury and the Uranus-Pluto square is dredging my emotions and inciting the way I communicate. It’s a parking lot with a great big hole for me.

I have plenty of ideas and lots of writing going on. With Saturn’s influence the publication and fruition, the pace is s*l*o*w. Dirt helps (digging into it and envisioning food!)

  2. Glad you found your mind, Elsa – didn’t know you’d lost it, ha ha ha. Just kidding! I love reading your blog. I don’t think you will ever be without an insightful perspective. I forget what my notes mean sometimes but then something sparks a new thought and I’m off on what appears to be an angle I’d not considered before. I always look forward to what’s on your mind. Thanks for just being you.
