“Yeah, I’m thinking of doing a psychological self portrait,” I told the soldier this morning.
“Self portrait! A psychological profile of myself through astrology.”
“Why would you do that?”
“Oh, I just thought of it. I think it would be something to do. I am going to do it with videos I think.”
“I don’t know that I would want to reveal myself like that,” he said.
“Are you kidding? I have written 4000 blogs on this blog alone. You think I am not revealed? If you are going to write, you are going to be revealed. Like that singer songwriter you hate who is always singing about that one girl who broke his heart. He does that and he is visible.”
“Maybe but maybe not. I could be all wrong about him. Maybe he sings those songs to make money. Maybe he’s singing about his friend or something.”
“True enough. Anyway I don’t see where it matters. It’d be something to do. I may do it and I may not because it may just be too much trouble. If I get started it will probably take me a bunch of videos and I am not sure I want to do all that work. It would be a lot of work, I would have to be committed so I would need a reason.”
“I say do whatever you want to do.”
“Yeah? Thanks. I might do it or it might fall away. I have a million ideas and no time to manifest them.”
“Be interesting that’s for sure. But I’d never do it.”
“Yeah, I know. But it’s just something artists do. A self portrait of some kind and sometimes it’s their best work when it is personal like that. I have seen people write things that are very close to them and it’s just stunning. So if you can do that, maybe you should. Maybe. But anyway the sky is going to be very odd over the next few weeks. I expect strange things to happen.”
“Hope they’re not too strange.”
“Strange from my perspective doesn’t mean strange from your perspective. It all depends on who is doing the looking. You’re not having my experience, I am.”
Anyone else having especially interesting ideas lately?
