Okay! This time I want you to pull the chart.  It’s better that way, there is less confusion about what time to use if you are sending it via this type of correspondence… it would be diffetent if we were talking on the phone or in person or something, then I could just use the moment you ask. So I am confused as to which time to use…go figure.  I have a lot of practice with horary though.  I do feel confident with my ability to read the chart, though so dont worry.

All you do now is pull up a chart for the moment it feels right to ask the question…doesnt have to be right this second…you can meditate or think on it a while…your. mind needs to be pretty clear.  Then just pull up a chart the usual way with the exact time you asked the question and your location, post it to this forum and I will read it.  😊

Thanks so much, girl! I pulled this on Astro.com as a natal chart with the gender as an event. Hopefully this works. This is based on the question of whether he loves me.

Okay, this type of question is the easiest to read, it takes all of two minutes, because all we do is look at the receptions.  If it were a question about whether some event will take place, we would need to look at receptions in addition to aspects and strength of significators. Here, if you are recieving his significator in a major dignity (domicile or exalation) =yes answer. I learned this method via John Frawleys Horary Textbook.  Basically, he has two significators, Saturn( rules his house-the 7th- whiich we always use in a love horary) and the Sun which is always (unless taken by the querent) the mans secondary sig.  Here both of his sigs, Sat and Sun are in the detriment of Moon (your primary sig because it rules the Asc-you) .  When a sig is in the detriment of another this is called a “rejection”. It is unfortunately a ‘no’ answer to your question. But he is also in the triplicity of your sig. This is a significant reception, but not quite as strong as domicile or exaltation, therefore it cannot override the rejections.  It means he does not hate you however. Triplicity often shows attraction rather than love, and sometimes it means friendship. It shows he is conflicted in his feelings for you. Him being in his 12th house shows some type of fear. He i also with another planet there…Mercury, I dont know what that represents, it could be someone else.  This chart actually doesnt look much different that the first one I drew.  I know it is let let down.  But horary questions arent set in stone or permenant necessarily.  This shows whats going on currently.

Thanks so much, girl! So he doesn’t love me at all? Or just doesn’t currently love me? Is there someone else that you see in this that he might be involved with?

This seems so difficult to interpret and understand lol.

This means he does not love you currently, if you want to know if he will love you in the near future, we would need to do another chart to look for a future aspect and receptions.  I am sorry, i know its hard to hear.  It can suck to get a negative answer.  It can be hard to accept.  Lots of people dont like horary for this reason. But it works. It’s just a method of divination just like tarot or iching or something.  It’s your choice whether to accept or not…you certainly dont have to.  The thing is… I hope you search deeply because often peoples actions speak.  You said he wasnt always nice to you so after seeing this horary, that does raise some flags.  If he truly loved you, unless there is some reason like you guys are having an affair or something, wouldnt it make sense that he would be showing you? Wouldnt he be trying to be with you? These are questions you might ask yourself.  I am sorry I dont mean it to be mean but its reality.  That Neptune of yours does not like this.

Thanks, girl! I think this actually makes sense. Although, I was hoping for the other answer lol as to perhaps give him a chance. I trust that this horary was just telling me what I already know deep inside.

Thanks so much for interpreting the horary though! Means a lot! 😊 Would you mind interpreting other ones when I pull one in the future?

there are many articles in astrology even Linda Goodman’s that say scorpio man/scorpio influenced men treat their women kind of badly lol  but will love you behind closed doors. Sigh. ;p   Well, it’s hard. but if you can handle it, and you are strong enough you’ll be fine.

However, i think because he has that Leo Mars Sag venus? (nice trine)  he likes your Aries alot, so he feels that connection. I suck at reading charts but i think you have a Taurus venus?  Taurus really love their opposition, and taurus can become so obsessive and supremely possessive when they find someone of “quality”… they dont want to lose it. However despite this fiery nature, he has Virgo, and Virgo likes someone who will be “useful” to them in some way. this might be also an “earthy” thing though. Like you are “grounded” … which is why trines (other earth) get on and understand.

How is it going so far, Lila31?  Any news of him? I’m curious also because i like to hear love stories. ;D Im a romantic at heart.

I dabble in Horary – la sirena, you know much more than I – so want to ask couple questions:

what do you mean @ Saturn/sun in moons domicile?

Ive understood that if significators are in aspect, whether hard or soft, means yes

notnin aspect:no

I would think, though not in tight aspect at all – the moon is applying to sextile Saturn….

also was thinking interesting that Pluto rules 5th love affairs & that is conjunct the sun(he may have deep feelings but does not see commitment)

If you take traditional mars as 5th ruler – it is in its own sign moving into a square with saturn

also, that Jupiter in the fifth in own sign and with Venus (trine Mars)….reiterates ideas of the love affair without committment

I am asking to clear up my own ignorance & have no desire to muck up your reading!!!

one thing I’ve learned is Occam’s razor is the best approach to Horary – I find that tough to actually apply though

thanks for feedback & clarity!

Significators in aspect mean that an event is likely to occur. It doesnt necessarily mean a yes- that would depend on other factors, like receptions and th strength of significators.  But you can get a ‘yes’ out of a chart with no aspects if the question isnt about an event.  Like Lila’s question, “does he love me?” All we need in a question like this is strong positive receptions.

The Moon meets Venus before it gets to Saturn so it is irrelevant here.

Traditionally, we dont use Pluto in Horary…you can consider the outer planets if they are conjunct an angle or a significator but it should really be an afterthought…they are interpreted kindof like fixed stars. Him conjunct Pluto in the 12th reinforces his overwhelming feelings of fear, pluto is unfortunate if you consider it at all in horary, at least thats what I think.

The Mars is irrelevant.  You really have to be careful not to “muddy” Horary.  Its best kept simple.  This was a simple question. Jupiter in 5th is also irrelevant here.

Anyway, hope this helps!

You can ask more than one question using the same chart if they are all related, so you could potentially see an aspect between sigs and conclude an event, but here there is not one.  The Moon would have to aspect Saturn or Sun before it aspects any other planet.

I highly recommend John Frawley’s “The Horary Textbook” if you want to learn Horary. He lays it all out very clearly.  I was rather confused about horary until I read that book. (“Rather”…i sound like an english person…Frawley is from England haha)  but it does show you how simple it is, so you dont drive yourself mad.  It is an easy skill…not like rocket science.  Simple and easy.

Thanks a lot, great stuff here on horary smile I’m studying horary and broke my head with William Lilly’s Christian Astrology… geez is the book difficult!! Well, at least for my understanding… I went back many times and still have things left unclear… I’m gonna read this one! laugh
