synastry2.jpgDear forum members,

I know that the word "soulmate" tends to be overused these days, but ... many years ago, I had a relationship with a man who I felt completely at one on the physical, emotional and spiritual level. Never before or after did I experience such feelings of mutual understanding, love and ease about being together. However, we were each from a different country and after many attempts to relocate to the other country, we finally gave up, as the obstacles seemed too big. 18 years later, we met briefly (this was about 2 weeks ago) during my business trip abroad and to our mutual astonishment found that we both still loved each other. However, the obstacles to our reunion are now even bigger than before. Why can´t we be together? - is a question that´s on both our minds. I attach our synastry chart ... as I am still no good at synastries, I wonder if there´s any part of it that shows why this is not meant to be a normal relationship, despite the mutual compatibility. Many thanks for any insights.

It looks like the blue person is Capricorn rising and has n.Saturn in Cancer in the 7th House

This sometimes means delays in relationships or committed relationships happen much later in life for this person like after the Saturn Opposition which happens at age 43-46 or some other milestone

So maybe that's where the blockage comes from

Thanks for your reply, Osiris Wife! The person with the Cap AC is me. I guess out us two, I was the one with a bigger need for a stable life. My partner was the hippie happy to live in a caravan :-)) However, it´s curious that we both had Moon-Saturn conjunctions (wounds from childhood) and as they are in sextile, it was as if the harsh energy was cancelled when we were together. It just wasn´t there. There was just sense of ease and well-being that I´d never experienced with anyone else.
