Onslaught of Death

My neighbor got hit with so many deaths last year, it left me speechless. A gal my husband works with lost her father last night. Her mother and her husband are sure to follow.

The latter is much older than she is, though she is very family oriented and has been married to him, devotedly for more than thirty years.  She has one son.  Her husband's family never accepted her even though she's been an exemplary wife and mother. Her son is an engineer, in his early 20's.  Any mother would be proud.

I can barely stand to think of the anguish she's headed into. I am sure she's known this is coming for a long time - husband had been living with cancer for years. But I just don't know.

I feel I need to do something. Like she needs a friend. She doesn't really have friends, outside of my husband and me too, on the periphery.  It's due to her strong personality; she is also a foreigner... seen this way after 30 years.

I know that sounds bad but it's what is real. She is Catholic so if anyone would like to pray for her and her family, it would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure.

Oh yeah! She will own all kinds of stuff when her husband passes. Major properties. But this is quite meaningless as she truly loves her family to the bone.

Taurus, Libra moon like my son. I don't know what she's going to do. If she sells everything and goes home... well her son is American and they are very, very close.  She can't make him come with and I don't know how she'd fit if she went "home" after 30 years.

Her son is ambitious and while he's doing very well, bought her a car and such, he actually wants to move to a major city and get to the top of the top whatever that is.

I just see some nests empty in ways that are truly traumatic.  I'm afraid this is what's dead ahead for this woman.  I guess I better do something so I will.

Oh!  You might wonder what she is doing working in a machine shop when she is married to someone very prominent in the area.  It's just the way she is. She works her ass off... and I mean she comes in early to work off the clock and then puts in a 10 hour day after that. She's done this for 20 years!

Mars in Aries. She likes to beat everyone on her production numbers. Mars new symbol Mars new symbol Mars new symbol Mars new symbol Mars new symbol

But the properties have got to be worth many millions. You just never know about a person. She's unusual.

At least she has you to be there for her when her husband goes. Sometimes that’s all you can do is be a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on and even if it doesn’t seem like it, it helps more than anything in these situations.. Having two good friends who have been there for my grieving heart the past three years has been one of the only things to get me thru after I endured two major losses.

I'm sorry for your losses. I'm glad you had support.

This gal went home for the funeral. She's distraught. 🙁
