I don't know if I am using the right terminology, but has anyone else noticed patterns in synastry, like a mirror, that you experience one another similarly? I have Mercury opposite my husband's Venus, and his Mercury is opposite mine. Then we have a Moon Neptune thing going on, same aspects. There may be more, we have so many aspects that I'm still analyzing it all. We commiserate on putting up with each other, that's for sure. ?
It's not that common to see this. When you have a lot of "answering back" like that, I think it strengthens the relationship (for good or ill).
I don't mean that, personal to you. I mean, you might see a lot of this between two charts of people obsessed with each other in a negative way as well.
@elsa We do have a strong relationship, but it took some time to get here. We do have Moon Saturn, and commitment has always been strong, but there were power struggles and insecurities at many points along the way. I didn't find any more mirrors like those mentioned. I am taking a deep dive into my husband's chart now and understanding him a bit better, which you would think after 17 years, but Uranus and Pluto/8th house are big influences in his chart, and with my Venus Neptune, and our Neptune Moons... I think you get the idea! Maybe I'm making it sound awful, but it isn't. There are plenty of mitigating factors.
@kim it doesn't sound awful. It sounds like you have a solid marriage and family life which has more value than anything else I can think of!
