I've never heard this term before.

So, based on everyone's examples .... mars-pluto or mars-saturn.

I'm thinking of pure Mars and Aries energy!

Some of the 'ball-busting women' I do like, like about half. And the other half just seem mentally unstable, or insecure, to me.

To not be misconstrued I better define my meaning of being a “ball buster”. In my friendship circle it just refers to being assertive in relationships with men, not tolerating any abuse etc. Generally speaking, it’s a positive term for a modern woman.

I think it means you bust a man's balls over minutiae.
But that would be the original definition. It's definitely not flattering!

If would be the equivalent of a man harping on a woman over a three-pound weight gain.
