In terms of Venus, I’ve dated guys with fire, air, or Mars-ruled. Totally variable.

I think the Aussie was attracted to both my Venus Scorpio and Gemini Moon. Our Venuses (Veni?) oppose each other to the degree, his Mars sextiles it and his sun conjuncts my moon.

I enjoyed reading this posting a lot. My bf and I have the same moon sign (Leo) and the degrees are virtually the same as well. I am a virgo and he is a capricorn. I also have a rising sign in Libra and my bf’s rising is Sag.His venus is in Aquarius and my venus in libra.

I think that the moon sign has a huge impact on the nature of the relationship on a long term basis. I have met many fire sign (before I met my bf) and dated them with no problem because they had a pisces moon or a moon sign in a earth sign. However, the longivity of the relationship was always brought back the sun sign connection btw us. I think that the sun sign (the ego/personality) of a person is a romantic relationship shapes the future of the couple also. Even though, a couple has a deep connection via their moon sign. rising signs, etc… if the sun sign connection and/or the venus sign aren’t compatibile then I don’t see the relationship lasting.

My venus is in Virgo, and I’ve never been attracted to virgo men.

My moon is in Aqua, and I’ve never been attracted to an Aquarius.

My moon is conjunct mars, never been attracted to an Aries, but the only man I was ever serious about, was a scorpio. (and I don’t like all scorpios), just him.

I’ve got to have sexual attraction. Immediately, or I just……… can’t.

my venus is in libra.. (with everythign else), but i’ve never been with a libra. Carline and i were discussing this the other night.. i need to find me a libra. i find i’m attracted to virgo types (my moon) but then they turn out to be too stiff for me to really enjoy.

the scorps venus is conjunct my moon.. but his moon is a pissant, and i think we’re through (because i just don’t care to wait and be at his beckon call when he decides he’s ready for affection.. it has now been three weeks, and i know the last day of classes at his school is tomorrow, but it’s not like he’s administering tests, he isn’t a professor..) ..sorry.. i’m totally bitter about it right now because he leaves on sunday and i know i won’t hear from him before he goes..

anyway…..

my dads venus is conjunct my moms sun (almost exact), and his saturn/moon/neptune in libra stellium, and my moms venus/saturn/neptune in libra stellium are right on top of each other (and close to my own actually). and moms moon is in dads 7th house… they were really made for each other.

my grandmothers moon is in my grandfathers 7th house, and trine his sun.. but their venuses are unaspected at opposite ends of cancer (with pluto in between), and his moon opposes her venus. they love each other, but he isn’t always that nice.. and she rolls her eyes a lot even still……

I’m a cancer sun and the hubs’ venus sits on my sun. He has a 1st house (conj. asc) libra moon, so I don’t really see that being the draw (although by aspect, his moon is trine my sun and sextile my moon, both very, very loosely),

Now that I think about it….I guess so, considering the men that either have fallen for me openly, or in secret.

The departed one had Venus in Gemini rx, and he loved me an awful lot. *preen* See? I’m lovable. I think his Scorpio moon was also intrigued by my 12th house venus, and rather hard to pin down self.

Other men that have been my friends, or cared a lot about me have been Venus in Aquarius, Libra, and Capricorn. I can understand the other two air signs, but not quite the Capricorn but….that one has become the wild card lately.

Their moon’s have been….Cancer, Pisces, Taurus, and Virgo. Maybe it’s my taurus asc?

There’s also been some serious 12th house energy, sometimes on both sides too.

Don’t forget about the Vertex (whom we are unconsciously attracted to).

Mine is conjunct Saturn in Aquarius. A woman who observes “rules” and has an “authoritarian vibe” about her (while being a bit quirky & freedom loving) pretty much gets my attention.

I do agree with other’s observation about Venus / Moon.

My Scrorp Venus hints at sex-fiend / deeply caring partner….. while my Moon would suggest strong empathetic / compassionate individual.

Hmmm…. combine Vertex / Venus / Moon….. and I get an authoritarian (about her home / spouse) who is a sex fiend (no cold bedroom) and is compassionate (no “I’m fine , I can bandage it myself”). Kinda sounds like a Teacher or Nurse!!!

True about Vertex. My husband’s sun is conjunct my vertex. My Aries stellium conjoins his.

Interesting point about jupiter @sagittarian. I was just looking over synastry with my two longest relationships (one being my husband, lol) and noting the jupiter links. In the first case, my jupiter conjunct his saturn; in the second, his jupiter conjunct my sun.

I also see some signs popping up in both: taurus, aquarius,…but different planets each time. I’ve said it before but I swear I’m an honorary aquarius having been raised by two aquarians. I’m telling you, I draw them like flies!
