Forgot to mention, I live in Maryland.  We are getting hurt by this thing this way.  DC Metro is the next Hot Spot.  I have a good governor.  I work with a woman who is in her fourties who got this, and she ended up in the hospital for a week.  A different employee at my company that I did not know died.  I guess I am afraid, but I am being very careful.  The media did a huge dis-service characterizing this as a “Flu”.  This is like SARS.  This is SARS, just a new variant.  1 out of 5 to 1 out of 3 people get into trouble with this thing.

I had a dream the other night about doing yoga to stay healthy, and it was very clear to me in the dream that I was being instructed.  So I am, (I have done a practice off and on for 30 years and have taken from some good teachers). There is also a video of breathing exercises out there to do if you catch this.

So, afraid, wary, watchful.  What else is a girl going to do?  Cleaning up the house.  Midara’s thread on the condition of the 4th house was actually extremely helpful to me.

Wishing all of you safety and health.

LizM

I had a Zoom session with my family for Easter and it was good.  Zoom is free.  I didn’t arrange the meeting but its very easy to do.  It was nice to see everyone even though it was only virtually and it helped make not getting together for Easter a little easier.

If you’re feeling down, try it.  You’re allowed 40 minutes, I think, in your online meeting.

Last night my family had a Zoom meeting as well! My cousin from Texas joined us this time. We all got to catch up on how we’ve been managing through this time period. We’re running into a lot of the same issues, so it was good to know we’re not alone. The kids in the family were part of the meeting too, but mostly either running around or messing with the camera.

One of my sister’s decided not to show her face for awhile, and when she finally did, she was dimly lit and intensely sewing a costume. LOL. She’s a Virgo, and camera-shy like me. If people try to put attention on her or get her to show off, she gets annoyed.

Seriously, though.

This quarantine is destined to give some people depression. The Capricorn stellium in 2019/2020 is in Capricorn, afterall!

Wow!!

I took two of these on Tuesday and when I woke up on Wednesday, I had 18 holes in the hallway walls.

Not to mention my roommates cats don’t want anything to do with me…

Thanks for the drug recommendation. I sent a screenshot to my sister who is a pharmacist. She had a bad week. She was robbed at work on Easter night. She had a good laugh at the screenshot and said, the robbers would have taken it, too.

As for answering the thread question about being depressed, I am a little depressed but was already before all this started (for other reasons), but the confinement sure doesn’t help.

I try to keep myself busy, but sometimes just want to do nothing at all but read. Have millions of possible things to do & yet just feel listless. It feels like nothing is “worth it” aka “what’s the use?”.

So I guess you can call that discouragement (that’s why they call it the blues???)

Luckily I’m not alone in the world. It must be horrible for people all alone.

I get these feelings too. I had plans for the summer and they weren’t anything crazy, just wanting to make my garden look nice and have some activities for the kids. It’s hard to get the motivation sometimes. What’s the world even going to look like by then? That’s what I wonder. And I know it’s useless to do nothing at all and be paralyzed so I’m pushing myself to do things, but I get easily sidetracked. It’s hard.

I am floating on a grand watery trine, so definitely not depressed

But since depression can be a virus of infectious negativity

I am social distancing; online and offline.

I am also not depressed. I’m busy as hell though. So much work.

It’s also garden time; my daughter will be visiting again. This time, she is bringing her son.

My surgery will be coming up, which means I need to do as much as I can now, before I can’t drive or walk or work or whatever.

So this is a lot but it also, literally, all good. 🙂

Yes, my husband is super excited. It’s funny as hell. We’re going to a farm.
It a farm playground – huge. Like a paradise. You can milk cows and play in cracked corn and such. Many, many attractions.
