What are your deepest hopes and aspirations in life? Is there anything you’ve been hoping for that has yet to come to fruition?  Is there anything that you would regret not realizing if time ran out?  Are you striving for something or have you given up?  Just curious …

I think about this a lot 🙂

All I want in the end is a home where my family and friends visit often and feel at home. I want community and for my kids to remember their childhoods fondly. I envision this community of genuine people around me and my kids, happiness, good food, and staying the course through the ups and downs of life and relationships. This all takes time and work but it’s my daily focus. So in 50 years I should see how it all turned out 😉

At this point I’ve given up creating art (if you don’t count cooking) so I do want to get back to that. My plan is next year when my youngest isn’t still constantly on my leg and I can carve out some space.

My dog, health, freedom, independence, home, security.

My country, pet rescue, veterans.

God.

To continuously evolve and grow and learn is important to me, I never want to grow stale or stop seeing the wonder and possibilities in the world. My body might grow old but I never want my mind to. I want to end up being that lively grandma who just says what she thinks and is full of life and wisdom.

On a material level I do want to be successful. I’ve just always felt this great need to make my mark on the world, to be remembered for something. I’ve always written, from being a very young child. I still have a folder packed full of short novels I wrote throughout my childhood, all fully illustrated. I lost my way a bit with that in recent years but I plan to get back on track because writing’s in my blood. I know that if I don’t write and publish a series of epic novels (fantasy) before I die I won’t feel fully fulfilled, no matter how happy my family life is. I dream big (Jupiter in the 11th) so it’s like I want to reach out to humanity in a big way with these books. Other than that travel is important to me, I want to see as much of the world as possible before I die.

What’s really important to you in life?

* Being there for my elderly parents as they go through the last leg of their earthly journey.

* My cat. I would not be here without him. He saved my life when I rescued him 5 years ago; he continues to save my life every day.

What are your deepest hopes and aspirations in life?

* No hopes.

* I aspire to always do my best, live with integrity, and be loving to all.

Is there anything you’ve been hoping for that has yet to come to fruition?  Is there anything that you would regret not realizing if time ran out?

Sort of (“hope” is no longer part of my vocabulary; I do my best and beyond that, the outcome is out of my hands).

I have lost or abandoned everything but one “thing”. I am currently giving it one more (last?) go. I am going to give it my best (again). If I succeed, that will be nice. If I don’t, I will be sad, and mourn it like all the other losses and failures. I have learned that with time, the sharp edge of grief does dull. Life goes on. The “thing” that mattered oh so much no longer does, at all. You just wake up one morning and you wonder why the “thing” even ever mattered. You’re free of it.

What are your deepest hopes and aspirations in life?

I hope that my charitable donations and volunteering have made someone’s life not just a little easier but that they realized that someone cared. I also hope the same for something that I have said, that my words made a small positive difference.

Aspirations….not sure. I think I’m past aspirations at 52.

Is there anything you’ve been hoping for that has yet to come to fruition?

An answer to two questions about two unrelated events

Is there anything that you would regret not realizing if time ran out?

It sounds weird but I would regret not seeing Yellowstone Park. My dad wanted to see it because his grandfather was there in the very early 20th century but my dad won’t make it. He won’t fly or go without my mom and she would never leave home long enough to drive that far. Maybe if I could go and take a video and take photos in the exact same places that my great grandfather did almost 100 years ago that it would make my dad happy.

Are you striving for something or have you given up?

Today I would say I have given up. Maybe a year from now I will feel different because it is my experience that a year makes a huge difference in a person’s life.

Thanks for asking!

Thanks everyone for all your responses.

I hope someday I can get another dog in addition to the one I have. I want to aIways have at least two dogs.  I would like to live in a cabin in the woods somewhere with a river nearby.  I want a big rock fireplace in it, big windows.  I want to be cozy and content. My Sun will progress to Taurus soon.

I hope most of all that I can be completely independent, I mean deep down free of all dependency issues.  So that I can live life fully and with no regrets.  I want to be so free and for my life to be so full of meaning there is no room for hate or resentment left in my heart.  And I want to love even strangers.

MOST important things yeah l had to reply to this one

…making art (music mostly) and being free free free!

being my own boss, being independent! having love in my life and being healthy sure …

but yeah creating things and having the freedom to do so being an artist is the most important thing for me ever and it has always been since l was a child

l always fought hard to maintain those goals and have the freedom to be able to create so yes l think l should keep on doing that and l will be happy!

Saturn Leo + Neptune Sadge opposing Sun & Jupiter that might be the astrology of it…all
