These planets at late degrees and cycles ending isn’t pretty right now. We’re in the destruction phase still. Hoping for Aquarius energy the sooner the better. Capricorn, uh, enough.

If you ask me, in America, we’ve been in the decay phase since Pluto hit our 1st house in 2000/2001, with Pluto in Sagittarius!

If the police are defunded you will see a mass exodus of businesses and law abiding, working citizens that pay taxes from the city.  Vigilante justice and mob protection will take over to fill the vacuum.

In reality, I don’t think defunding will happen anywhere and any elected official that suggests it should be removed from office.  We need the police and most of them are good.  Get rid of the bad and work on reform.  The criminals are far worse than the police.

I really had to laugh when I heard that Minneapolis Council President suggest that social workers could replace police.  What world is she living in? AND how did she ever get elected?  I think by the end of it all she’ll really need a safe space.

Yes, I want to see who would step up for that social worker job. So what happens when they fail to contain or resolve a situation? Who gets sued when people die? The city? It feels like the grown-ups have vacated the building.

You’re last sentence there was my thoughts exactly. I mean, thats your solution? These are the minds that are initiating policy.

I also feel like it’s like that kid who eggs on the fight from the sidelines and then runs away when the teachers come. The lack of courageousness in it is absolutely mind blowing, not to mention just the plain lameness of it. It’s not surprising though.

As far as what will happen. I’ve actually thought about this for years. I’ve thought a lot about authority, having Pluto conjunct MC. I wondered what would change if we just let anarchy reign. Of course the idealist in me would like to think that it would allow the higher natures of individuals to emerge. And the Capricorn realist in me, sees how many would take advantage. I don’t think we are at a place in our human evolution to try such a thing. We need law enforcement. It could definitely use an upgrade though, and that’s for everyone, cops and civilians.

Yes, we need law enforcement. Also, I am reminded of Jordan Peterson’s impassioned plea to appreciate and preserve the MIRACLE of the “presumption of innocence” in our jurisprudence. It didn’t have to happen and it could easily be lost.

I don’t know. I will say that I’ve had some bad experiences with police, including being given a ticket under false grounds (unfortunately I didn’t have the knowledge to fight it at the time) and harassed for no reason. Many people, especially people of color, have experienced much worse, as the protests indicate.

I’m not sure that defunding is the solution though. I just want intelligent, reasonable people working in the force. People with humanity. Not low-intelligence dickheads on a power trip.

I know it’s possible because I’ve definitely interacted with some who are better than others. I wouldn’t say I’ve ever had a “positive” experience with a cop (neutral at best, it’s just the nature of the institution), nor am I convinced by the PR stunts I occasionally see. But they’re not all horrible, some are just doing their jobs.

I think the important thing is how the funding is used. There needs to be a focus on actual crime, not bothering and intimidating people who aren’t doing anything. And the money needs to go to people who are truly worthy to hold a position of public service. Plus better training…perhaps higher funding could be the answer, as long as the funds are very carefully applied. I don’t have much faith in that at the moment.

The whole situation is weird.

Seattle Police have moved out of their district in response to protests. It is now occupied and renamed the Capitol Hill Free Zone. They are now extorting businesses with the misfortune to be within their borders.

Just In: Seattle occupiers threatening a suspected phone theif with baseball bat beating only to find out that the phone was somewhere else. They also have some dude calling himself the Warlord lol in charge. This only took two days.

As I said, if you create a power vacuum you don’t want what steps in. Informants and Denouncings are next.

People with money will leave the cities. Poor people will be left to fend for themselves. It’s really bad for the poor and I think that’s the intention, although it’s being presented as the opposite. It’s been going on for ages, trick people into supporting things that will hurt them.

Sometimes it’s a trick and sometimes it’s intimidation. Support marxist BLM or you will be canceled. “Silence is Violence” It’s compelled speech.

It spooks me, honestly. I support black people but I don’t support compelled speech. Period. I support FREE speech. Which includes the choice to not speak. “Silence is violence” is propaganda.

And yeah, that might offend someone. I think I’m done caring. I want to discuss real solutions, not performative displays and virtue-signaling.

Oh yeah…and small business owners are supposed to be okay with their stores being destroyed in the name of a greater cause. Despite being in the midst of a pandemic and probably struggling financially as it is. Encouraged to just put up with it and shut up. I’ve seen numerous videos of black women speaking out against this (including an older business owner whose property was damaged). So much for black lives mattering.

Good point! The throat chakra is SO important right now, on so many levels. I watch for people who speak on behalf of a whole group of people. In a free society, everyone speaks for themselves. Every voice is valid. Goes back to that Narrative that we talked about in the thread I started.

As far as BLM is concerned, before I would donate money to that organization I’d look at exactly where that money is going. The information is out there. Its a front.

“Disrupt the Western nuclear family” is part of their publically stated goals. Imagine how many social organizations and public schools are aligning themselves with BLM LOL. 75% of African American families are single parent households already and commonly acknowledged to be a cornerstone of poverty and crime in the community. It boggles the mind.
