The husband of the woman who died last week just stopped by. Luckily I was dressed! I have a feeling I better be expecting visitors... maybe forever.

"Social media has been weaponized extremely efficiently by PR firms and the misplaced trust in influencers is at the heart of so much turmoil right now."

True!  But also by individuals.

"Self care" is turning into a buzz word.

I also heard it was "micro-narcissism".

Just in case you want to keep up with the words being spread out there.

It's like being plant. They throw things on you; you're supposed absorb them and transformed as intended.

Kind of like giving a plant, nitrogen, to make it green.

Except I'm not a plant.

Another lost or dumped dog. Hopefully lost. He's old and mostly blind but truly one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met and he's a pitbull! My neighbor has him and has already found two homes for him if no one shows up. I went over there and spent 30 minutes with him. He's definitely someone's pet.

Neighbor took him to get scanned. He has a hard lump on his back. The vet noticed. But anyway, I have not known many pitbulls but this one captivated me, and clearly, others as well since he  has two families on standby.

I've never had a pit but my brothers have had some very sweet ones. I'm so glad that people will help the old guy out Smile

I see so much that makes me want to cry lately, it's nice to hear! Smile

I was just thinking about this guy who used to live (I guess homeless is the term, but I’m not a fan of it) in the town near me. I swear he was a gnome. He was adorable. He was about 5 foot 2, round face, age was kind of timeless (like old and young at the same time) and a beard. He even wore a red slouchy beanie. There’s that kind of “otherworldly” spiritual energy in that town, lots of oak trees, feral cats, streams, winding streets. Kind of like a Salem vibe (although I’ve never been there lol, that’s what I imagine it to feel like).

@libra-noir I could picture this all so well just by reading what your wrote here. There are such interesting little corners of the world and they can be so close-by
