Got my double helix piercing today. I'm pleased with the final result. And I honestly think I look badass with it.

@okscorpiogal I'm hoping you are feeling better. As a fellow spine-person, I am a bit worried.  Is it pain?

@elsa I am fine today.  The radio ablation procedure is blasts of radio waves in the nerves on my left hip.  I have also had them in 5 places on my lumbar spine.  However, I have to be on my tummy for the spine injections.  Last time they tried that, they partially dislocated my knee when turning me over.  The hip ones are done with me on my back, whicfh is much eazsier on me & seems to help my lumbar spine as well.   He gives me "joy juice" thru an IV so I barely feel the injections - it's something called Versaid, I have no idea how it is spelled.  Sometimes I have pain for a few days folliwing the procedure, sometimes I don't.  This time it was severe.  Now, 4 days later, the pain is gone & so is the sciatica!  I've been having it done for years.  My Mayo Clinic dr. approves of the procedure, and said they do it there, too.  My dr. said the nerves will grow back, but the treatment should last from 6 mos. to 2 years/  I can never go that long, I am usually needing another treatment in 6 mos.  Usually they give me extra pain meds after the proeedure, but they didn't this time, and I think that's why I really suffered.  Plus I had other things going on (a/c not working and closet rod fell and all my clothes landed on the floor).  It took TOO many days for Maintenance to fix the closet rod, but an excellent tech came immediately on Sat. to fix the a/c.

Today I am fine!  PTL!  Thank you for asking!

@okscorpiogal I have had ablation in my neck and it's held for 5 years. I appreciate my luck! I hope you ordered some delta 8. I think you'll be surprised at how well it works. Email me about this if you like.

@elsa No, I did not order the delta 8.  I looked it up, and it does contain some of the "good stuff" from Marijuana.  My pain management dr. (who I rely on GREATLY) will not treat me if I use any marijuana with the good stuff!

I am allowed to use CBD oil, and had some at home before the kids emptied my house & I transferred to Asst. Living.  My OKC daughter has my car now.  My Tulsa son (my "rock") will have to get it for me.  While I am thinking of it, I will send an e-mail to my primary care dr. asking to send the nurse an order for it, and then for my son to pick it up for me when he has a chance.  If Primary Care dr. will not write order, I will have pain dr. do it.  the CBD oil DID help me immensely.  Thanks, Elsa!

A double helix is as type of piercing in the cartilage of your ear. It's essentially a double cartilage piercing.

The only canning I ever did was okra pickles once.  I froze a lot of fruits and veggies, and meats, for future use.

The last 3 nights I’ve had very detailed dreams about dead people. Friday it was my Neice who passed away about 15 years ago. Saturday night it was my friend from school who passed this summer and last night it was an old boss who passed around 7 years ago. All 3 were very vivid and active alive dreams.
I’m not afraid of this, but curious if anyone has any ideas about what could be causing this. They are busy dreams. And we are having intimate conversations, interacting and last night I was working hard to help my boss do some projects for her community help program.
I did a search here, but couldn’t find anything. I guess it’s a transit hitting me

3 consecutive nights in a row. Not scary at all- just odd.

@redbird

I often dream of people who were prominent in my daily life when alive, never actually connected it to any transit.

Not a dream, but I awoke on the 29th thinking of a man from my hometown with whom I'd exchanged emails about local history for a couple of years, but had neglected to stay in touch with after moving away five years ago.  I searched for his website (art -- he'd told me he'd been inspired by my dad's paintings), but instead found his obituary from 3 years ago.  After the initial shock and grief, I searched further and found his daughter's obituary from last year, and finally his wife's obituary from last week announcing the day and time of her memorial service.  It was happening that very morning at the very hour I awoke with my first thought of her husband.

Have you been prompted by these dreams to revisit anything brought up in them or by your memories of these three individuals?  The experience I related above prompted me to go back and reread all those old emails and find so much info I'd forgotten, some more relevant or meaningful now, like gifts I didn't adequately appreciate in my chaotic state at the time being given to me again from a guardian angel.

@warped - No! And thank you for responding, & for your really insightful feedback with your story. 💕 I’ve been coming off of some anti-depression meds, off now! doing some more holistic, natural ways to function. Also did a detox !  So- I’m feeling more clear headed, more like myself, so, maybe that’s why? I have a heavy 12th H with J&Chiron conjunct AC, opposite P&U conjunct my DC. N&V conjunct in 8th house. So, I’ve had some really wild psyche events in my life- from childhood. I have dreamed ppl passed - and they did.... so.. I was wondering if that was coming back.
But- never 3 dreams in a row. I think having zero medications in my system now, could be making my mind more open to whatever comes - if that makes any sense. I’m having my second Saturn return and Mars also just crossed over my Mars so, it could be a transit... I have been doing all the second Saturn return things, really taking care of my body mind spirit and focus on my family and home. I have more inner peace than I’ve ever had before. Must come with age and wisdom ! Did you get to the bottom of your emails? Did you find what possibly caused you to wake up thinking about your friend and discover all you found out about his family?  I believe if we look for it- some beautiful truth will reveal itself! Have a great day !!

With my back fixed, I got to at least some of the grapes, in time this year. There are more going but as an experiment, I blended a bunch, cooked them a little, added lemon and a little (needed) sugar. I stained the mixture and came up with a grape concentrate. It's interesting. I am not sure what I am going to do with it.
