Today I’m doing better, though still kind of weak. If I don’t walk around much I feel okay.

I’m so glad! Take good care! 🌻

Working in the garden. Wondering if it’s slow because of finals… end of the school year.

I’m struggling, I don’t have a lot of extra energy to talk about stuff. It’s like t-Saturn is conjunct my Sun and Moon at the same time.

I miss the garden we had in West Virginia. The soil was so rich. Enjoyed a trip to the local Farmer’s Market on Saturday with one of my kids. So grateful for fresh produce.

I’m above ground, but I don’t feel that great. Wondering if it’s because I lost so much blood last weekend. Or if it’s the Cipro/Flagyl combo I’m currently on. I have read horrific reviews on Flagyl.

I’ll have to watch that. For about a week I’ve been following the James Charles three-ring circus, and let me tell you, it is a study in “cancel culture”. People (myself included) have gone to Social Blade—the pulse for YouTube channels, basically—and had our jaws drop to the floor as his subscribers left in droves……then came back. Now Jeffree and Tati are losing subscribers en masse and people are calling for THEIR heads. A lot of folks are getting dizzy trying to figure out which one(s) should be cancelled now!

ETA:  People are now insinuating that Shane Dawson might orchestrated this whole mess as a social experiment for the documentary he’s getting ready to do. He is currently diving into the YouTube beauty community behind-the-scenes.

@NotMyCircus, I can certainly relate to what you’ve said. I’m heavy into YouTube. I’m aware of the topics you mentioned. ATM I’m involved in the true crime community. It’s gotten ridiculous. Somehow it’s become interwoven with the drama channels. For instance people who used to talk about makeup and/or arts and crafts, assume the position of expert detectives, in the Chris and Shannan Watts case especially! Mostly women at each others throats. Jeez.

Okay, so what am I doing right now….working on a speech that I’m planning to give tomorrow. I don’t feel prepared AT ALL even with the intro done and outline semi-finished. Too many things on my mind at the moment (all real-life concerns).

I just got back from an epic hike. fitbit reads 145 minutes, 99 floors equivalent, 5.5 miles in distance. I have never seen so many wildflowers on a hike ever.

I baked someone a cake… it’s good but time consuming to make, so I made two at once.

The cake takes three different mixtures, two bowls and one sauce pan.

One ingredient goes in both bowls.
Another ingredient goes in one bowl and the sauce pan.

There are a lot of ingredients and 2/3 cups so it always stresses me, I’ll forget to double something. Never mind, trying to eyeball the batter to split between two pans… and I had to peel 7 or 8 apples. I have a little peeler, but still.

This cake is an act of love… or at least one of them is. The other is just efficiency.  In fact, I think I will see if I can fit 2 cake pans in my oven.

When I make breads, I cook 6 loaves at a time.  Extreme time savings and then I always have something to offer.
