I was sitting outside enjoying the last days of summer.  Its been so rainy here, this is the first sunny day in a long time.  We’re going to have a barbecue for dinner.

Washing curtains, cleaning out the china hutch, doing laundry, letting dogs in and out, and prepping a Thanksgiving list of food I need to purchase.

Sitting here taking a break right now… having some fresh squeezed OJ and trying to hold off eating until dinner time.

Husband is going to exercise with the oldest son when he gets home…I have the whole house to myself (well me and the dogs) I love it when I have the house to myself.

Also, I had to put on a hoodie….its COLD. I hate it. Planning my first beach escape but I don’t know where to go. Florida is a hot mess. And, the east coast is flooded. I don’t want to go to the west coast, northern east coast where it is cold, or leave the country……hmmm_gifhmmm_gifhmmm_gifshrug_gif

Watching Oregon/Stanford without tv announcers it’s really cool like I am actually at the game.

Worst of the chores done, I’m all cleaned up but don’t want to go anywhere. I won’t even walk across the road to buy a bbq dinner. I’m getting the sneaking suspicion that I’m depressed without the sad thoughts component.

How’s it going now? Better I hope!

Been feeling like that too, but not sure why… I don’t like it b/c I slow down and want to do nothing but read in bed. (Currently “4321” by Paul Auster – what a story, what a writer!)

I just finished my laundry, and did my grocery run in the morning.

I’m watching some funny Seinfeld reruns now, and getting ready to make a Spaghetti Pomodoro for dinner! Decided to stay in and just have a quiet Netflix night tonight.

My SR Moon is in Scorpio this year, and I have noticed so far I’ve been a little antisocial lol, I just want to hole up in the weekends!

Prepped husbands lunches for the week, doing laundry. Letting dogs in and letting them out. Its cold shrug_gifso…

Getting ready for next week. I’m trying to prep because its going to be so busy….I’ll be working and running from one school to the next…from one club or lesson to the next (kids) and getting lots of little furry things fancy for Christmas.

I took the whole month of January off. I may make a run down to the beach (if its possible) …I am for certain going to clean out the walk in closet and the attic…which I dread. But, it has to be done…. Shit! cryThe minute spring arrives there is going to be a dumpster outside… cleaning house…everything we don’t use goes. I cant wait.

Trying to clear out some stuff that has horribly accumulated at my place (n Jupiter in Sadge in 2nd H!) – to make room for setting up Xmas tree. Don’t want to do it at last minute, my usual mode.

Trying to focus on the ends to put up with the means. I’m not much of a housekeeper, it’s a never-ending uphill battle (think Sisyphus).

home with my husband, he decided to stay home with me. and work from home. He got promoted this year 2x and he is working for another company, however, his last job he could stay home 4 days a week and just go in 1x or just stay in all week working. But this time he can go in 2x or 3 and stay home 2x or 3 whichever.   I’m also finishing up my christmas cards and christmas decorations. Also, this scheduled week finishing up all the christmas shopping. I am dreading to go a few days before, even though there are huge sales at that time lol

we had field mice run into our home last summer so we heard them in the attic; the could have come from the roof, since i leave the attic window open. However, my husband hired a painter and woodworking done on the house so the doors on both front and back had to be left open all day. field mice could easily find indoors warmth and food, a safe place away from predators. and we decided to try to drive them out. I hated it when I had to see his mother kill the mice, and now we have to get mice traps, or mice poison to drive them out. They sure are smart though. If they die around the mice trap, the one mice will try to cover up the mice hole to the poison to warn the others. I realize that it’s not good to have them in your house, they will destroy everything. I read a single mother mice can breed up to 10 litters of 5-6 young in one year. eeek.

Thats cool you’re husband has so much freedom with his job.

The mice thing, Ive been through an INFESTATION.  They were so disrespectful and destructive. At first I thought they were cute, but by the end of my stay there, I became a coldblooded mouse murderer.
