Gave a client with stage 3 cancer. It's really shocking - she's an Aquarian in her 30's. Please stop and say a prayer for her.

Thank you.

Hi Folks,

My dog Ruby's bladder stones have returned and one blocked her urine flow. We spent the night in the animal hospital and they are operating on her today. If anyone reads this and sends a prayer for a successful surgery and recovery, I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks

jana

@jana You got it. I like to light candles too to add to the energy of my prayers so I’ll do that too.

May precious Ruby have a successful bladder stone surgery and recovery with as little pain as possible. It is so.

Thanks for the prayers. Smile

I'm really glad we decided to take Ruby in last night. She was acting so weird--didn't wan't to come in the house at all after being out w/my husband working in the snow all afternoon. She didn't want to come in because she had a hugely distended bladder from not peeing since the night before. She knew she had to go and she goes: OUTSIDE thank you very much! Poor pup.

Vet said she had an amazing amount of large stones. The operation went well but she's an old girl so she's staying another night to make sure her recovery will be smooth.

Thanks again friends Smile

Praise be to God! ❤🙏❤

Ask your vet if Ruby can benefit from cranberry supplements for dogs.  There's a good multi-berry one that includes cranberry, Four Leaf Rover's Red Rover Organic Blend.

Tonight the wife of one of my home care clients just told me her husband is in the hospital for Covid, and is not doing that well. Please pray for them--their family has also been dealing with Covid, and they'll all been through a lot of stress.

I've likely been exposed through him (my last visit with him was on Friday). So I'm wearing a mask since I've gotten the you-know-whats and the protocol for that allows me to continue working as long as I don't have symptoms. I also plan to get tested mid-week--good luck with that.

You may need to advocate for your elderly client to get Monoclonal Antibodies (the newer Omicron variety is available) or even Iv€r m€ct!n and H(q if possible.  The FLCCC website lists doctors in every state who can help, could even be one in GA affiliated with that hospital.

May God bless you both! 🙏🙏🙏

@warped Thank you! Her younger daughter knows a doctor who prescribes those (he doesn’t take insurance for that reason) so if her mom gets sick, she’ll likely take her to him. So far we’re feeling fine!

Perhaps that doctor could also treat her hospitalized husband before it's too late, before they put him on a vent?

Here in "free Florida," the Mayo refused to allow an unaffiliated physician to treat (with Ivm) a man who'd been on a vent for 28 days despite his latest prognosis of "5% chance of survival."  Why???  There are documented cases of near-immediate improvement and full recovery when it has been administered in these situations.

Just talked to the client’s wife tonight. He’s in the ICU now. He had the 💉 💉 but since he’s immunocompromised, he may have few if ANY antibodies. Even a cold can knock him down.

I did not suggest any medications to her since giving medical advice is outside my scope of practice as a CNA and his wife knows his health issues better than anyone else. (Medically he’s kind of a unicorn.) She knows what will work and what won’t, and is constantly doing battle with the VA.

So far she’s doing fine. No symptoms. Me and my housemate are also doing okay so far.

Of course you can't prescribe, but the younger daughter's doctor can, and probably could've gotten him the MA treatment if he'd been consulted before the man was admitted.  Tragically, most hospitals won't give them to inpatients even if within the 10 day window, for some inscrutable reason.

Update: My client is improving. They’re going to try to wean him off the BiPAP machine and move him to a hospital floor. Yay! 🎊

So far, his wife and I both tested negative for Covid. 🎉  My housemate is also doing well, driving me nuts as usual.

Finally, some good news this week.
