If you aren’t using an ad-blocker, you have have noticed ads on the site. I resisted this for fifteen years, but I’m trying this in the hope of getting some additional revenue from the site.

I really don’t have a choice. Cost just go up and up as everything (like this forum) becomes a subscription, paid yearly, as opposed to something you can buy outright.

I will continue to resist pop up ads and subscriptions for access to the site.  It’s a small thing, really. 🙂

The Ads are fine with me. In fact, its good business sense.

It would also be fine with me if you charged a fee….a monthly sub price or yearly.

I cant find another site that does this for free. They offer an article, or a monthly news letter and then the forum is a paid sub on all of them I have seen. Every one of them have a face page with some info on it. The astrologer shows what they know. They write a piece and allow comments. But, for all the meat, people have to pay.

And, they should.

I know you have never wanted to do Ads or a subscript….but I have no idea how you keep this running for free like this.

Please do whatever you need to do to keep this up and running. I for one would miss it terribly. And, I know I am NOT alone. heart

I have a new donation thing… it offers credit card and bank transfers as well as paypal.

I also fixed the contact page. I am sick of getting mails like this:

“… “innie, microsof company Kurkova has an even indentation (despite the fact usually a tummy press button can be airbrushed on to your images when report formation). without one termed as a navel, The stomach mouse would be the spherical, Knotty natural depression in the middle on stomach introduced on by the detachment twine umbilical that’s raised on a within the womb. all of us have umbilical wires, So let’s all have a abdominal option? master of science Kurkova has not voiced openly precisely how your girl came to get a smooth waist line, and all of the thes person usually think that should be “she will be not an unfamiliar, the few don’t have belly option since the healthcare needed to take care of intestinal trouble during the arrival, oftentimes probably an umbilical hernia, Or a medical condition frequently known as gastroschisis blessed through the stomach and intestines poking via a hole during the abdominal wall structure. This is how it happened at deceive Swainson, 26, for Bournemouth, exactly who put in his very first period while having an operation to correct the idea pathetic miscalculation within information. thus, she has a upset shaped keloid in the this tummy instead of a middle control key.”

And this:

“…girls and boys and once that they’re, they frequently on their ever late thirties while you are their sperm count began to proceed down, and also i’m sure unquestionably the men not necessarily ready to waste. consumers having a great time, they should see the purpose of tying itself goose down equipped with students, So they really wear start out looking to have minor ones proper to be honest in their forties…”

Shit I tolerate behind the scenes. Can be solved with technology but it’s a constant struggle and time and energy consuming.

I don’t mind ads on any site if they’re not intrusive, like the ones that jump around or take over your screen.  Maybe different ads from other companies would work better.

Didn’t notice the ads til I read this. I’m so used to them everywhere else, especially YouTube (videos with ads every 5 minutes).

In the future I expect that sites that want to stay afloat will either charge for access (think New York Times or Washington Post) or mark the prices for their services way up, and there likely won’t be a choice at some point.

I don’t mind.i actually just noticed now because you posted this. They are not intrusive. As Libra Noir said, it will probably take time to make some money. I’m not sure how it works….if I click on the site, do you make some money?

Yes, they have to figure out what gets people to click… part of it is me because I am disallowing metaphysical stuff. This is is because those ads look cheap and think most using them are scam artists.

But people like that would bid to be on this page in the most intrusive way possible… and it’s alarming.

I set it like that at first, but within minutes there was an ad that sais:
ElsaElsa – Forum
ElsaElsa – Store..

etc.

It picked up the titles to the pages on this blog… if you clicked them, they took you offsite!!

Ingenious, I guess.

I may sell other astrologers ads on my site. I’ve come to this because they constantly, incessantly try to promote themselves here (you don’t see this).

I’m to the point where I’m thinking, MF’er, come through the front door and try to do that. I mean they badly want linked from this site because of it’s very good reputation. Being linked here gives status; this is a long-established, non-spammy site. So that’s what I might do.

Charge monthly for a small ad.

I just have to do something, all the time, to keep up with everything, all this time.

But even this would take a lot of energy and negotiation, much of which might sicken me so… I am trying this first.

Firefox web browser has an ad blocker called *uBlock Origin*. I started using it to make YouTube viewing better. It allows selected websites (like this one) to run ads if one wishes, any other website you can block all you want.

I’ll let this website remain *unrestricted*….. because the ads are not obstructive.
