Hi everyone! I'm new here, i've been studying astrology since the 70s, I remember reading years ago to never have surgery on the part of the body that the sign rules when the moon is in that sign! Well, I'm scheduled to have a hip replacement January 8th, when it is not only in Sagittarius its 2 degrees from my sun! Should I ask them to give me a different date?

The moon is conjunct Venus conjunct your sun. I would keep the appointment for sure. Mars (surgery) is also in exaltation, trine Jupiter (rules the hips).
