Being an adult is hard work. A self respecting adult that is.  And I realize it is an ongoing process a choice that is affirmed moment to moment.

I saw a young deer today, a yearling. He was grazing close to the horses.  I wondered if it was lonely.

All the Easter candy is on sale now.  Of course I had to buy it.  And eat it.  Mommy, I have a tummy ache!

I spent the last 12 hours (since my feet hit the floor this morning) doing the rest of my taxes…off to the man in the morning. I never procrastinate until tax time. I hate doing the books. I take care of the finances for both our home and the business and the business is always the last thing I do every spring. I hate it. I would rather run nails in my eyes. It’s funny really. I am so over the top with making sure everything is done all the time…. and will put off doing the final books for the business until the accountant is ready to kill me. And of course it costs more for him to do it in a pinch like this….

Oh well. This year I will do better. I will handle it monthly hahahahaha I say this every year. I am going into year 7. My husband just looks at me like I’m crazy.

I HATE MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!eek_gif

Chats with my co-worker…

“Stop that!” he said, after I yawned less than half-way through the day :)

I brought up how I had just been asking my daughter yesterday about contagious yawns, and how it’s weird that I’ve noticed they’re still contagious even when ‘held in’, covered, or not outwardly expressed.

Then I was wondering out loud if maybe it’s an ancient latent genetic memory thing, where ancient ancestors in an earth climate with rapid atmospheric condition variations had to yawn in lower oxygen environments, but only select individuals with heightened awareness could sense the times yawning would be necessary and so the rest of the population would mimic such individuals to better adapt to the environment and thus pass on the mimicry of the action as genetic memory to offspring.

Then I realized out loud, “Hm, we’ll never really be able to reverse engineer ourselves unless we had something to do with our own creation.”

Stay humble. Stay humble. Stay humble, STAY HUMBLE!!!

personal reminder to myself.

Hard Work. Humility. Hard Work. Humility. Confidence. Hard Work. Humility.

I think I am maturing through my hardship. Fortifying my character. No one owes me a thing, but I am thankful for the generosity that has been shown to me.

Why do website designers insist on using gray text on a white background? Sometimes I will just skip over that page instead of reading it.

Gahhh mine is opposing my natal Venus. Just as my natal Venus/Neptune trine (1° orb) wasn’t enough. Don’t even get me started with my Love Life right now.

I’m handling it better than I thought I would. Questioning myself and identifying habits I fall into that harm my goals. I learned my lesson when progressed moon made aspects to Neptune. But man….floating is NOT my MO. My ambitious Sag moon needs to get the show on the road. Every rose has its thorn.
