Saw a house today where I might spend 4 months alone this autumn-winter. I am afraid that my city-bred body and soul may not be able to handle the middle of nowhere isolation and tough country living, but the view was to die for! It might just be the perfect place to lick my wounds for a while.

Im of a different opinion from most that if this is what you need, then you should go for it.

Sometimes an external reflection of how we feel internally, can help to process the turmoil.  I’m sure when you’ve had enough, you’ll be out of there fast. Also, I’m assuming there’s WiFi and easy contact with the outside world should you need help.

WiFi is negotiable, phone coverage with mobile internet is not, which it had. One can call emergency services, but its an island….so….not sure how well that works here.

Love you guys! Thank you so much! I couldn’t sleep with grief, anxiety and am-I-going-mad moments last night.

About the dream view house, wood and 3-times-as-expensive-as-city electricity from two heaters would be the source of warmth. However, the clincher is that the landlady wants the house back in July (in case I decide or need to stay longer), just when its the best time to be here. So, no point in changing tapestries, investing in curtains or carpets. I asked about the sceptic tank after tips from you all, and it seems it is a winterized summer house, which was historically used only 2 months a year, hence its size. (A mad English guy has been living there for 3 years though.) Also, no dishwasher (not that a single person absolutely needs it, but still).

Also, I found that the public transport authorities may be forced to reduce bus service because of reduced demand in Corona times. Good thing is that groceries are deliverable 2 times a week, even if for effin 35 dollar fee. AND, to top it all, the nearest slots for a driving tests are in February next year, so buying or leasing a car is not an option. I am thinking of holding on until after the full moon, in case I change my mind, but looks like I might have to say no.

I have another candidate in a home on a nearby island, which does not have a view (but a nice rocky + soil) garden, but it has a bloody fairytale tower, which can be my writing sanctuary. 🙂 I enquired after hiring a piano, buying a glasshouse, cost of tapestries and ways to renovate historic homes as a tenant without a lot of cost. I am giddy with anticipation to see it from outside tomorrow and inside later next week. (My new friends – Priest landlady of current cottage and her motorhead fiance have agreed to come with me because they are angels in disguise.) Best part is that public transport is only 5 mins away via a flat tarmac road from that one, allowing me to haul stuff back home easily.

I have a good feeling about it, unlike the severe anxiety the other one provoked despite its movie like setting.

Has anyone watched the new movie – Black is King? I am halfway through it and it’s giving me cold chills!!! It’s really been calming for me. I love the beat off the music.
I have on my skull head set (earphones);
and I’m watching it on my apple device with no interruptions.
The lyrics are excellent and uplifting to me. The lyrics are brilliant and confusing-  It’s oddly entertaining. And mysteriously soothing. Weird & exotic, inspiring & addictive. So bizarrely giving pleasure like a climax to the eyes and ears and soul –  that won’t end….. 😊
Wanted to mention – perhaps it could help Or entertain or uplift another person this weekend- this month-this year.

Could do with uplifting art. Thanks, redbird.

I just found out there’s going to be a full moon on my 31st birthday this year (Dec. 30). It kind of makes me wonder what my solar return is going to look like next year because of it.

~ I find myself wanting a shirt with “Peace” on it.

~ I wonder if tattoed words on a body have the same effect as Masaru Emoto’s experiments with words on water?

~ I like this symbol it reminds me of hand surfing out a car window in the summer

Kitty’s going home today. I’ll miss her, but I won’t miss being woken up by being pawed and bit on my face haha. Rude awakenings

headphones are a must. >

It truly is a visual feast. 😊
I was so emotionally attached to the music she made, that I purchased the entire album on iTunes.
I love the story of the Lion King. This takes it to like- … -another level- …. Kudos to her. Bowing to her talent.

I thought it was going to be about your grandfather and a piece of furniture someone wanted to give him 🙂
