Hopefully, this whole quarantine thing is a Capricorn stellium thing. Meaning that the intensity of this whole Corona episode is past its peak after 2020!

Oh wow. Well I know you weren’t bringing that up for debate but I’m on the side of things where you get light bulbs, birth control and medical technology and whatnot.

Did you know in the Roman times most children died of Cholera! Average age was 20 years old.

Lol you’re right, I wasn’t bringing that up for debate:)) I also wasn’t stating your claim or mine. Sorry if it sounded like that! I was just adding in some common ways people have attempted to answer your question, the most well known of whom are Locke and Hobbes. There are other ways to answer it, of course. It’s a complex problem.

I think the response (of those people) to your example of Rome would be that it falls under the umbrella of civilization.

But I agree with you, there are many many ways in which we benefit from civilization. That’s undeniable!

One of my fixed siblings, a Taurus, had issues with dancing. He wasn’t good at dancing in his high school play! I told him that it probably was because he was too stiff. He gave me a stern look.

Imagine telling a Taurus to ‘loosen up’. Bad idea! He loved me and still does. But, he playfully gave me a stern look! laughlaughlaughlaughlaughpopcorn_gifpopcorn_gif

😄@ telling the taurus he was too stiff.

That’s a cute story.

You’ve reminded me of an incident in my childhood. I spent a lot of time on stage performing and when I got with my cousin, I decided to set up a mini concert..lol.

As my cousin began to sing in what appeared to me, to be a lifeless performance, I recited a line that one of the choreographers use to yell out to her performers.

”Put more Oomph into it…..you need more oomph!”🙂

My cousin seemed a little insulted initially but then soldiered on and I thought that was the end of it.

2 days later, my aunt rang mom and said how my cousin had taken my “oomph” to heart 🙂.

We are still close to this day and we share a laugh over this incident.

Your cousin is nicer than my Taurus. But, my Taurus was half-joking and will always be headstrong! I accept it and we still are close to this day.

We may have been outspoken, but our hearts were in the right place. We were genuinely trying to improve their dance/ performance 🙂
Kids don’t tend to filter much of what they say, so you get raw honesty. As an adult, it’s funny hearing some of the things that come out of kid’s mouths. Don’t ask them what they think of your new hair cut, unless you’re prepared to hear the truth!

In 2 1/2 hours I am going to have my granddaughters in my arms.

Today is day 71 of quarantine. I don’t care what the rules are in this state. I am not waiting another moment. Scorpio moon is beside herself. And, she is not going to cry another day.

We will be gone soon. I was hoping to spend all these 70 something days with them because soon I will be so far away. Forget all this crap. We have been IN this whole time. So have they. No one is sick and I am not doing without them another day.

I will have them all weekend and I am SO happy about it. Those little girls are just everything to me. I have no idea how on earth I am going to be so far away from them.

My youngest son, the Gemini, with the Aqua moon… yeah him… who seems to be about as emotionless as a person can be is the one having the biggest fit. So, I will never count AIR out again. He is one of the smartest people I know. He is also the one I argue with the most. We have been tugging on each other since he was about 14. We drive each other nuts. But, even though I am 6 fixed and 5 fixed water and he is the opposite, everyone says we are the most alike. And, they say that is why we butt heads.

He is married to a Cap with a stellium in Sag. Sometimes I look at both of them like one of those little dogs… you know the ones that turn their head to the side when you talk to them like they have no idea what the hell you are saying? Yeah, that’s exactly how I look at them. They look at me the same way with all my kissing and hugging and loving the living shit out of all of them. But, to see them both so upset…. I guess we all understand each other after all. I can tell you this, no one could love them all more.

I have those little girls all weekend. This is my heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I’m retired! As a woman that spent her whole career working with men it was great to be their hero. They said the only woman in the department and I had the biggest balls to stand up for myself and not be made miserable. shiny-chicken

Good for you, Tam!  I know the feeling well of how a job can suck the life and soul out of you.  I’m glad you got out.  Time for a new chapter in life.

I seem to have developed some social anxiety due to the quarantines.

As I see people around me visiting their loved ones without fear, I keep wondering when I’m going to stop being such a ninny about this virus. Should I wear a mask around them since I’ve been working and running errands this whole time? Or stop being so paranoid about everything and get on with life?

You’re not alone with your fear.  We really don’t know who carries the virus because of asymptomatic people.  That’s a fear we all have to get over because it prevents us from going back to normal.
