Ok, so we went to a flea market this weekend and I got something for Pixie. My husband was 😒.
😂😂😂🤣🤣😂 We went for a short walk in the shade because it was warm yesterday but I was laughing so much. I loved it! She loved it, too. At least she was quiet, looking around, and eventually layer down and looked at things as we walked. I made my husband go with me and I’m sure she was very amused by me.
We took a short walk this morning in the shade because it was getting warm. omg it’s so much fun! Unfortunately it appears we are getting thunderstorms later so maybe after dinner or tomorrow we can go again. 🤣😊

Oh shoot…sorry for the double post.
If anyone is so inclined, my precious senior dog could use some prayers. He's having mobility issues, discomfort. May need another emergency vet visit tomorrow if the doggy cbd drops aren't effective enough. I'm hoping some new meds like PEA or Apoquel can be prescribed as the multiple supplements that have worked so well for years suddenly aren't.
Thank you all. ❤🐾🙏
We are dog sitting today until Monday. Pixie has met Bella once but when we first got her and had to stop by the granddaughters’ for a minute. Bella thinks cats are 😒 but she tolerates them.
When Bella came over, Pixie’s tail fluffed up four times its size. She hissed at Bella but it was a mute hiss 😂🤣. Anyway, because they are still new to each other, I am keeping an eye on them while my husband mows the lawn.
For a while it went like this:
They’re better now and on opposite sides of the room.
As I’d said on another thread, we took Pixie to the farmers market in her little pink stroller. Some people from Parks and Rec had a tent there and we went by to go to another vendor. A teenage boy from Parks and Rec (I think his mom was working there) ran up to us and asked if he could pet our cat. We said, sure! I’ll unzip it a little because she’s still a baby and might jump out, and you can put your hand in and pet her.
He did and she turn to sniff his hand and he jumped a little. We said, she’s just sniffing you, she’s very nice. So he pet her some more.
Then he thanked us and said she was so so soft! And that he had never pet a cat before!
He was of Indian descent and we do have a lot of first, second third generation Indians here in town, for about 15-20 years. Our next door neighbors are, too. Their mother used to visit here from India years ago and sometimes we would watch my MIL’s dog. The neighbors said their mother was terrified of dogs, so we made sure to keep the dog well within our yard (it was a good dog). They said she wasn’t really bothered by our cats but dogs…🥺.
I just always thought most people came across pets at some point but maybe it’s cultural? Anyway, we were delighted to let him pet our Pixie and he was so pleasantly surprised. And I’m really glad he came up and asked us so we could share the experience.
