My husband got challenged by some guy he says has a Napoleon complex. My husband is fairly short himself, but no complex.

“He was giving me some shit and using his eyes to try to intimidate me, the dipshit.”

“What did you say?”

He laughed. “I said, yeah. You should fit in a duffel bag, all cut up in pieces. And those eyes of yours – they should be good to use as marbles…”

I laughed.

“Yeah, I always like to hit ’em in their weak spot,” he added.

“I’m not the tallest motherfucker, but I don’t remember ever being bothered by it…”
He really doesn’t like this guy. He compared him to Iggy, trying to be threatening,. :)

I seriously wish I’d had that line for my brother growing up. He had such a Napoleon complex and he was abusive. Tell your hubby I said thank you! Incidentally, I don’t talk to my brother now either. He still hasn’t changed…

My husband definitely says these men have this. He has no insight into it. He’s always been the small dog, you underestimated…well, except for that time that obese man sat on him and beat the snot out of him, while his friends laughed their asses off. (search)

Live and learn.

Sand, I love, love, love Javier Bardem!!! Woody who???

Elsa, I know exactly what he’s talking about. I see it in a guy and I laugh. How can I take them serious?

I have a co-worker with this issue.

It’s very apparent when he has to deal with women; he’s condescending and easily resorts to undermining tactics – he has, Sun in Cancer.

My former lead man is like this and his middle son. I didn’t mind dealing with the son even if he barked at me and nipped at my ankles. His dad though….ugh.

It’s a repellent quality for sure. My son has a friend who has it. My son even said it lol. Little mans syndrome. Its all about confidence or lack thereof.

Yes, “little man’s syndrome” is how I refer to this behaviour as well 🙂

I’ve known so many, particularly in the work force; men and women. The last one I came across was a woman around 5 ft. She had somehow managed to reduce most of us to tears on seperate occasions. Eventually, a work psychologist diagnosed her unfit to work. We were all so relieved. She was a cancer with an afflicted Aries moon.

Oh see, I was trying to see the parallels with women but I couldn’t find any. I’ve never seen it in a woman but I’d imagine it to be doubly repellent. I have had women try to nut up on me (sorry it’s a crass phrase but it’s exactly what it is), which I just find incredibly entertaining.

This is my first husband. He is 5 ft 4 .I am 5ft 5 At the time I thought it would put me at a more level playing field. Boy was I wrong !!

Not only a leo sun but all his personal planets except the moon which is in gem. Jupiter and Pluto also in Leo.

In an impulse {I have a sag moon and venus} I married him 3 and a half weeks after I was introduced to him.

He was so controling and abusive. He could manipulate more than anyone I have ever met. Intelligent but used it in the most negative ways.

This reminds me of what someone told me one time when my son was a baby and looking for a dog. She told me that big dogs bite less because they aren’t threatened as easily, so they are better with kids.

This is true. . My ex was always on guard. Always ready for a  fight. I had a couple of bosses that were women around 5 ft. Very aggressive. Always trying to take me down so to speak.

Now I prefer a gentle giant.
