Some of the dark humor I wrote in my journals and diaries probably wouldn't sit well with some people today, LMAO.

Actually my therapist recommended that I journal but I don't have any exercises per say that I use. I just free write whatever I am feeling and it helps alleives frustrations, anger, anxiety, and sadness I feel.

Sometimes free-writing brings out what's in our unconscious mind. cool

I have done one where I literally map out my life as a set of power dynamics. So arrows going to and from job are around root chakra then various energy pathways in and out for various people. Since it is partly intuitive some of the things I noted down were more correct than I realised. One of the people I drew as not quite connected to me through a fog of dreaminess turned out to be way more like that than I had initially realised.

Eventually by making parallels with other power dynamics I perceive in the world I come to quite interesting conclusions.

Other than that I do have a diary, and various notebooks where I write down things. One is an astrology one where to make sure I am getting the best of things I will sit down and make careful notes on an astrology youtube video. What I should do and haven't yet done is set a date to go over it.

Sometimes just random things I feel, like quotes such as 'you told me you believed in karma x' and images. I also have a diary which as everyone here knows is MASSIVELY useful for checking transits.

Interesting!

This reminds me of one I’ve done a couple times. Ill draw out my natal chart and write a bit in each house about my hopes and goals for the stuff that that house rules. For first house, I wrote how I wanted to be seen by others, second house- how much money I wanted to make, etc. It was interesting to see how basic and attainable my desires were.

NMC, thank you for this link (and thanks to LN and posters for this topic)

I used JC's book many many years ago (10+) and what a treat. I'm slowing watching this video (RB is turning up/developing beautifully, I wonder if Cap or Saturn - getting better with time theme - is prominent - know he's a Sun Gemini)

I'll use her exercises and check out 750words too.

Kept all my diaries from the past although I'm not consistent...yet I've journaled on and off since age 12. (Mercury strong and Gemini planets.)

Haven't  got much time hence the use of initials!
