jana was remarking on how quashed people feel around stating their views. I'm sure every single one of us can relate.

Recently I read there is some movement underway to make people prove their identities in order to use social media.  You've got to provide your driver's license?  Talk about invade you privacy and ruin the internet. I think Parler is doing this... the thing is, they want to TRACK you. They want your phone number. You know what I mean.

If they (social media) starts with this, they will do it all at once, in lockstep? I am pretty sure that's why they are trying to kill sites like this one. They want to know everything you think or say.

I want to invite, whoever, to make a new account if you wish. Reinvent yourself.  Consider this a bar where everyone is welcome in whatever guise.  You just need an email address to set a password. We don't need your DNA!

If someone does come back from the dead, you can reintroduce yourself here. I know there are a lot of people who have lurked for years. I can easily imagine, wanting to post but not wanting to wear your 8 years old dress (screen name) which no longer suits you.

This could be a lot of fun!

This invitation is so Aquarian. Saturn in Aquarius is behind this?

I have considered doing this very thing - changing my ID. But I haven't done so.  Maybe later when Saturn hits my Aquarian Venus!  As is, the periodic purges of the forum have taken out my older voice. And that's OK.

I'd love to see some people return, regardless of forum name.

I'd like to shorten mine to just "Warped" but not sure how to do it...

Transformation is fun! And I’m totally tempted (have been a few times over the years). For some reason though I feel the need to stand by all the stupid shit I’ve said over the years so I’m gonna keep my name for now. That was me, the good, bad and the ugly.
