Mercury retro for the win!
That’s horrible what they did to you, though. And to act like there’s nothing they can do… that really grinds my gears. I wonder how common this sort of mistake is. I know I’ve been extremely disappointed with my own insurance plan since I moved to a different state, and shocked at how bad the service is when I try to resolve my issues/get answers – none of it seems right.
Very happy for you – to have at least made progress in getting back on track for your surgery.

That’s incredible. I am really impressed that you stood your ground and got what you deserved! A lot of people would have folded meekly.
But Jeez – it shouldn’t be this way. So hard. I really think it’s all about the money.
But now it is over and you can relax and move forward at last! Good work!

Thanks everyone! I hope I have not jumped the gun. I don’t think I have but I don’t have contact with the surgeon yet. This is the deal…
I am a super odd situation. My insurance is from 1991/92, the big conjunction in Capricorn? Weird, hug. I am grandfathered (Saturn) in. My particular plan was in affect for those two years. Whatever plan you had when you retired… that was the plan you kept when you retired. Point is, if you did not retire in those two years, you have a different plan.
Current Pepsico employees has a different plan, of course. Many changes over decades of time. So the new(er) plans have these requirements which have absolutely nothing to do with me.
I guess, most of the people who retired at that time might be dead? I don’t know. But today’s handlers are unaware of this.
I happened to get a nurse who had some familiarity. Believe me, I have been on the phone with UHC, Fidelity and Pepsico. Pepsico confirmed to UHC, no changes had been made to my plan… this was a week ago on a three-way phone call. On that note, my old surgeon was contacted… while I was still on the phone. However, five minutes later, they reneged.
But now this nurse has accessed my plan. She confirms it looks NOTHING like what they are working on. She said I am right, which I know is true.
She is enlisting her supervisor… taking care of this and then contacting me when she’s got it done. You can imagine my surgeon is um… skeptical! So I may not hear anything until the authorization is totally through the system.
Of course, the surgeon has to initiate that. Not sure if I’ve been deleted (CANCELED) from their records, so not sure how quickly they can do this… also not sure how pissed they might be.
But as you can tell by reading this, I am right, they are wrong and eventually this should sort out.

Also, my husband feels someone or something (a saint or my angel) intervened here. I happened to talk to a nurse who used to work in “benefits” and knew something about this… otherwise.
He said, for all I know, it might have been Mary. She’s up there pullin’ strings!
Because, yes I can fight and they are liable, but all I really want is to have my back fixed!
I also think I might spare others, going through this. The nurse has taken copious notes. While people have been quite crappy to me, she actually “heard” me. You know, you can feel the click, over the phone. It’s like, oh my God, I’ve actually broken through to this gal.
It more than a week ago. She said she was going to check out what I was saying. I told her I was going to check my way…
We both found out I am right – no kidding, but I can’t get this fixed (outside of a lawsuit). She can get it fixed and will get it fixed. That’s what I was told and at this point, she’s proven her integrity.
But she is one in 30-40 people I have talked to. Take her out of the equation and I would be hosed… for the rest of my life! My husband too, because he has the same insurance. We pay for it and that’s the killer. I’ve not been given the benefits I absolutely pay for. I just want it to unravel and be left behind me.
Thanks to Mary’s intercession, perhaps. Or maybe it’s my mom or HENRY since it’s all this Capricorn.
Do you know, Henry is the one who got me (and my sister) our first astrology books. I was 8 years old.
He’s cool with me being an astrologer.. though he may be the only one!

Might get news, tomorrow. I hope!
I’m getting worried. Like it’s a small group of surgeons… they may not like this hopping around.
I’m just astonished this has even happened and been sustained for weeks. It’s truly illegal to deny me benefits that I pay $700+ a month for!
I have to block days off my calendar because the myelogram takes 24 hours to recover from. You have to prop up and be still so your spinal fluid doesn’t leak.
