We have a skunk hanging around, very near.  In fact, he woke the dogs up in the middle of the night.  We were sleeping with the windows open and the barking scared the skunk bad enough it sprayed; we have to get up and deal with the smell (inside the house).

Now he's out there again. He's got it in for the little black dog, who is way too curious and seems destined to be sprayed. 🙁

@elsa Oh man, those skunks are cute but they are rascals for sure.

@elsa oh no!

One night last summer we were on the deck. It was dark and we heard snarling. We got a flashlight and saw a possum and a skunk fighting under the bird feeder. The shed smelled so bad for a couple of days 😵‍💫

I hope a crisis can be averted!

@allie120 so far it has, but I smell that skunk, daily! I also have tomato juice ready because our little black dog just doesn't get it.

I just realized, there's one angle of my chart that I've honed quite well over the years.

It's my moon-neptune conjunction in Capricorn. Many years ago, I remember Elsa answered my question that this combo (specifically, the capricorn bit) introduces fear.

For the longest time, I thought that this sucks & I wish it was some other, more sexy/attractive sign that Cap, haha! I mean, it sucks that fear seemingly seeps in my feelings, right?

I think I kind of got a hold on this, through my own experience & also through others. So, the best way to describe is to remember that fear is different from worry, & the earlier is a useful emotion, while the latter much less so (think, de Becker's Gift of Fear).

I'm very proud to report that it's the *2nd time* I've been able to help a (female) friend of mine to spot a pattern of potential harassment/stalking behavior from a male colleague, & I was able to reassure them that they are not, in fact, going crazy, & then come up with some strategy for future...so fear is useful after-all, see? Moon-neptune in Capricorn is damn good 😀

Just to add, the book basically elaborates on how to harness your sense of fear to escape potentially dangerous situations.

Reading it, seemed like yup, this pretty much sums up my experience but good to see everything in writing sf laugh

Sometimes I see things going on and I just want to kick one of the legs out from under it….

Metaphorically speaking…

Just filed a complaint against Progressive Ins with the BBB. Jeez, this agent is something else.   Hellishly abusive.  Unbelievable.

@allie120 it's probably going to make it worse but I did it anyway.  This guy has got to be some kind of addict... like he's dry drunk at work. I'm not kidding. I settled two other accidents. It's truly extraordinary in a bad way.

@elsa Holy shit. Wow. I really hope that in the end you can have your claim resolved in your favor. That kind of garbage is the last thing you need after everything you’ve been through.

@allie120 it's truly egregious. It's not like I have a glass jaw!

This person is now adding injury on top of injury.  He's a bullying asshole and I am putting this on the record, the same way I would if I were raped. Even if I couldn't get the perp, I would set the next person up so they could get them.

This is the Capricorn way!
