Still studying the effects of Ketu. Looking at everyone I am close with natal Ketu placement in their Vedic charts.
Finding Ketu almost always denies or takes away.
for example my husband has Ketu in the 3rd in Capricorn. The third is siblings (among other things) and he was raised an only child. Ketu’s Lord in his chart is Saturn in the 11th in Virgo conjunct Mercury. Mercury, again, =siblings.
He had some friends in his childhood. A group of 4 brothers who lived in his neighborhood. He spent a lot of time with them in his childhood and teen years. He wanted to be part of the brothers and was considered so to a degree. They called themselves cousins in fact. He always longed for brothers.
I find Ketu extremely fascinating. It’s important to analyze the Ketu’s Lord as well. My own Ketu is in Sag in the 6th. It’s Lord is Jupiter in Scorpio in the 5th.
My mother and I have the exact Rahu/Ketu signs and house placements, except the Lords are in different houses. Her Ketu Lord Jupiter is opposite mine, in the 11th. We’re the same but different/opposite. Intriguing.
My father has his Rahu/Ketu axis in my 1st/7th houses. Rahu in my 1st, Rahu ruler Moon, in my 9th with my Sun, Moon and Mars. Trine Jupiter (my Ketu ruler in 5th in Scorpio) The 9th is the father in Vedic astrology. We are very close and emotionally connected.
Is there a thread about the October eclipse that is supposed to affect the cardinals- Aries, Cap, Libra Cancer?
I have a question. Will this affect all placements OR just suns? Will a Rising or moon feel it?
If there is already a thread can you point me in that direction? Thanks in advance.
My son has no major announcements. He seems fully grown up, standing with his personal power. He's described himself as blunt and honest (Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Aries).
He came here, knowing he may very well be laid off this week. His gf works for the same company and is in the same situation. They both send their resumes, everywhere, along with everyone else they know. Very tough out there, but he's emotionally solid and seems unafraid. I also don't see him pointing fingers at anyone.
I told him, everyone seems to like Zoomers. He said it makes sense, because they are the nicest. He says they all just want everyone to be okay. EVERYONE. Hard to argue!
He's outgrown all his picky eating. He's low maintenance all the way around.
We were reviewing his childhood last night, which was freakishly extreme in ways no one hear as any clue about. He doesn't really crave discussing it but he was looking for the happy moment and...
Well, the conversation began, when I started recalling moments I thought were striking or telling in some way. This was very interesting to him - he has Mars in Scorpio.
The things I brought up were almost all, unbeknownst to him. My recollections of events were from a different perspective but we essentially agreed across the board. His anger at his childhood, which was raging when he was younger, seems entirely resolved. Basically, he's happy so basically, I'm ecstatic!
@elsa So happy, for you! I’m not a parent, but I imagine your heart must be swelling.❤️
