Do you see good vs evil out there, or many shades between?
Has your view changed over the years?
Pluto in Capricorn is so drastic.
2 sides of the same coin, the way I see it.
Not sure that my view has changed much. It has probably just been clarified for me.
For myself a clarity that while things come back on me others don't. They can do anything awful while being cheered on.
@tam, that seems connected to having a strong conscience, which you have but some don't.
With natal Pluto opposite Venus and now T Pluto squaring my Venus right now, I see it everywhere, in my personal life and in outside world.
On a spiritually higher level, I know that it’s an illusion...they are two sides of the same coin and you can’t have one without the other like yin and yang. The purpose of it is for us to find the balance... but on the 3D level, it’s a reality we all have to deal with on a daily basis. Good vs evil is in all the great fairytales and myths and part of our archetypal collective experience.
I don’t believe either are bound to ultimately win. Because ultimately it’s about balance. That’s what karma is for.

but anyways, some more thoughts on balance... Venus is associated with the number 6 and the 6’s in the tarot correspond with the sephiroth “Beauty”, which represents “Christ consciousness”. It is located in the middle pillar of the tree of life and the middle pillar is the pillar of balance and flanked by the pillars severity and mercy. The star of Bethlehem was Venus... It’s because Venus is about harmony and balance... This is why Venus is associated with Christ.
Good and evil are all about perspective, as with all polarities. And also a paradox because of course they exist but then again, not real.
Just my thoughts on it
I do see good vs. evil. It's always been there, just not always as overt, in my experience.
I wouldn’t say that I see Good and evil everywhere, but it certainly has come into some kind of focus for me recently. I’ve always had a sense that there was like a “war in Heaven” but I feel that it’s filtered down to the Earth plane. It’s like those two forces seem to be more “embodied” and I feel that that serves the Freewill of each individual to truly choose what they want for themselves.
I used to think that Good/evil was some kind of polarity, but after investigating further I see that they can easily exist without the other. It’s not yin yang. Yin yang is Natural and speaks to Natural and organic processes which are all Good. Death is Good in the Natural world because it nourishes something else.
Now the evil I see in the world does not fit into that harmony of the yin yang (which is truly a guide for how this planet functions). It’s decidedly UNnatural. It’s artificial. Its heartless. It’s not Earth based or Earth friendly. It disrupts and disrespects Natural cycles. It only seeks control of humanity. It’s truly inhuman and psychopathic in essence. Theyve had humanity enslaved already for millennia through lies, manipulation and hijacking our own right to connect with God without an intermediary. The push right now is to come out in the open about it. They get around the Freewill thing in a lot of ways, mostly through the use of fear and shame (shame is the big one!)
The force of Good is striving to protect that Choice for humanity. That is all. Because the Good respects humans freewill it will even accept it’s choice to be enslaved. So it’s not like a battle of equals, because they are not really fighting and they are not two sides of the same coin, with all due respect to those who believe that. The fact that we take evil for granted on Earth is very telling about it’s effect. Taking evil for granted is a trap for sure. But evil is not necessary, not at all. It is not part of the cycles of Earth, it seeks to destroy those cycles. It’s like they are trying to superimpose a chaotic template over the more natural yin yang.
As far as what I see in people. I don’t see a lot of Good or evil but more like confusion, ambivalence and apathy. There’s many who don’t believe that evil exists at all and sadly those that don’t believe in Good either.
I don’t think most people enter the archetypal realm within themselves to access this information, so it sounds silly and childish to their ears when it’s actually childish to not grasp that the Earth is a battlefield, because it leaves one afloat and unaligned and easy pickins for evil. (If you don’t believe in something you’ll fall for anything).
It takes an ownership over ones own mind that is incredibly difficult. Usually there’s an initiation by some cataclysm or deep suffering.
- Truly I feel that this battle is mostly played out in the psyche. That’s why consciousness is so important. As well as alignment to one path or the other. I don’t feel that these two forces can be balanced. God and the devil are not equal. The Creator and it’s creation are not equal. Evil can be transmuted and healed in the psyche but as long as it’s allowed to exist as it is, it’s a cancer in the Spirit and a cancer on Earth. If you give it an inch it takes a mile.
- It’s obviously a big topic. The biggest really, but those are just some of my thoughts and I have devoted much of my life (wether consciously or not) to understanding this dynamic. I’m not an expert but I’ve come to be able to perceive clearly Good and evil and I feel so empowered by that perception. It’s like seeing the game behind the game and having all the tools. For that reason I fear no evil.
