Do you have a favorite or a signature you wear?

My fave is Jovan White Musk. Super cheap and some people say it smells like grandmas, but I love it. I’ve worn it since I was about 19.

It has jasmine and ylang ylang notes, both of which are Pisces fragrances.

Would you look at 2nd house for fragrance likes/dislikes?

Gosh, I have so many I love, I could never pick just one! I do tend to go for the more unusual fragrances out there such as Bvlgari Black with its' burnt rubber note, and I also really enjoy wearing men's fragrances when the mood takes me. I have a bottle of the men's Jovan Musk, so thanks for reminding me, I shall be splashing it on!

@plutolover I do think fragrance and cosmetics are related to Taurus in a way. I’ve never smelled that one, I will have to look for it. The smell of burnt tires sounds interesting in a fragrance.

I only have maybe 10 perfumes and all are sentimental. For example, I don’t technically like Red Door but my dad got me that perfume for Christmas when I was a teenager so of course it reminds me of him and I like to wear it occasionally.

Not sure if I've ever encountered that Bulgari, but one of my all time favorites has that burnt rubber note -- Bandit by Piguet.  I also fell madly for something somewhat similar in a short, squat, smokey, square/round bottle that might've been the original Oscar, from mid-2000s.  But even a tiny drop would eventually give me a headache, so I gave it away.

My mistake -- it was Gucci Eau de Partum.  Gucci, Oscar -- both five letter, two syllable words, which is how my memory works!

Two of my favorites are Dior. Dune and Hypnotic Poison. Ysl Black Opium. These all have a strong bottom note of vanilla.

Daily I wear Twighlight Woods from bath and body works. I think these all have strong deep amber notes. I can’t stand florals but berry is sometimes ok.

I sometimes wear Estee Lauder Azuree which has coconut but I always wish it had a deeper note of patchouli or something underneath. It’s a little light.

I sometimes wear Aromatics Elixer from Clinique but it is verrrry strong patchouli and is definitely a nightime fragrance imo. I don’t think it’s as attractive as the vanilla stuff I wear but sometimes it scratches an itch for something darker.

Yes those are very sensual deep fragrances. Men really like vanilla notes on women. Particularly men tend to love Hypnotic Poison and I know this because I used to work in fragrance at Sephora when I was in my 20s. I would have to be in a mood to wear those, like going out on a sexy date or something, def not everyday fragrances for me. That’s just me, I’m sure they’re great on you.

C'est la fete from Christian Lacroix was my absolute favourite. They stopped the production sadly.

Now i am using Shalimar from Guerlain.

@amuseme both of those smell like heaven, seriously. I don’t have them, but I love them both, especially on other people. I’m sure people stop you all the time to ask what you’re wearing.

Tresor. (Lancôme) For years. I have all the others, but the bottles are full. I love my Tresor.

She is right about Taurus. (moon) I worked in cosmetics as a side job for years when I was raising my kids. Sold all the stuff in the big department stores... loved it. Never did it fulltime, but it was a side gig I loved.
