Avatar is a favorite photo I took of a backlit red banana leaf. The colors are my favorites. Venus is my chart ruler in Pisces trine Neptune, I’m blessed with a lot of creativity. My Aqua sun opposite Uranus doesn’t require hiding, Myrna is my given name.
Mine is a Dinner Plate Dahlia. It's the first one I every grew, so it's special to me.
It is my name, only I spelt it differently. This icon is of my now deceased Greencheek Conure, Missy. She died on May 10th of this year. I miss her. So I may keep it up for awhile.
I love this idea to explain our avatar and screen name! My avatar is just me with a fiery sort of Aries color. Screen name is a spin on a line, "Cinderella's soldier fish was caught" in a Phil Ochs song "The Doll House." I changed it to represent my sun, moon and rising.
Rapunzel - Sadge rising - wants to be free. Cinderella probably would have worked too, but Rapunzel seemed more sadge-like with the long horse-hair like braid and whatnot

@rapunzelsoldierfish HHmmm... actually I can't really tell how this affects me, not having known the non-Saturn mode. Supposed to make me serious or something like that. Mainly I feel like I'm tied down. But I suppose it might give me endurance. (Definitely tarnishes my Leo !!!)
These two planets are opposite my Moon - that's a bummer.
And, yes! You're right! Knowing astrology has helped understand a lot of things, about myself and others. That is pretty beneficial in itself.
My avatar is a picture of a woman in nature holding a lantern. It reminds me of the hermit card. I started using it when I wrote a blog - it was when Saturn was in Sagittarius, I had a lot of visions and sudden downloads and the words flowed out easily. I want to be a person who brings light (spirit) to others and nature is where spirit is strong. My north node is in Sagittarius.
My SN is my name, although I am Sophie, Sophia represents my astrological side.
