I don't know a ton about him but what I do know I'm not that thrilled with. I don't trust any prominent people tbh, and I don't trust cryptocurrency whatsoever. Please give me silver and gold ?

Billionaires are not on our sides... he's pumping bitcoin / dogecoin precisely because he got a billion of it. Men of their ilk burn their employees out for profit & then sell hope to the hopeless. It's a freaking cult.

*I don't know how others feel, but I'd be really weary of putting my life's savings into something that's completely at the whim of an eccentric billionaire.

So now he's wanting Dogecoin's biggest stakeholders to sell because he says there's too much concentration of it? (meaning that only a few people are hoarding it). Apparently he thinks this problem is keeping Dogecoin from becoming the Internet's form of currency.

First of all, this is a strange thing for a guy who has a huge investment in bitcoin to to ask for. Doesn't that make him guilty of the same thing they're doing?

Second, wasn't Dogecoin started as a JOKE? Why in the Sam Hill would we want a toy currency to become a real one?

Forgive me if I seem dense about these things.

Well you have to know Elon I guess. He's a big kid really. His next car is going to have the license plate go down like a James Bond car and will have rocket thrusters come out the space. One of his Teslas has hydraulics that allow it to "dance"lol. He funded one of his projects, I think the Boring Co. with the sales from a flame thrower. Evidently there were no regulations covering flamethrower sales.

And yes it was/is a joke but the world of crypto is fluid once the block chain is there perhaps they will add another project to give it value.

I like that he has big ideas and is forward thinking.  I like his endeavors in SpaceX, Tesla and Starlink, but I'm not there on cryptocurrency.  I think its risky at this point and very volatile.  Its an opportunity if you're rich and can afford to lose it all, however.

I do agree with jana that he's a big kid.  He still has that open mentality, but he also has lots of money behind him, including the US taxpayer for about 4.9 billion in tax subsidies for his efforts.
