I’m sorry, Goldie.  I interpreted the wedding as part of the dream.  Not a happenstance of reality.embarassed

Maybe you’re right though? Please don’t be sorry…just the fact that you bothered to read what I wrote is something.

It’s just been so frustrating; I’ve been dreaming of letters and words again, but this time when I’ve tried to research them, I come up with nothing.  Nothing.  I even tried an anagram website which also came up with nothing…

I get the feeling that the meaning is right in front of my face but like a lot of things I am completely blind to it!

I had this dream 2 nights ago.

I am standing on a street and see this plane flying rather low in the sky.  It gets really close to the telephone wires… and then… flips over and… CRASHES INTO THEM!!!!

I was not that concerned about the plane crashing as I was about the telephone wires.  There were many poles and wires above my head and in my vicinity/area.

I was unharmed.  My equilibrium…??  Not so much.

I have come to learn that the wires represent – Psychic Energy.

Also, the wires symbolize my connection with others.

As for the PLANE, there is this:

Alternatively, your lack of confidence, self-defeating attitude and self-doubt toward the goals you have set for yourself is represented by the crashing airplane; you do not believe in your ability to attain those goals. Loss of power and uncertainty in achieving your goals are also signified.

This is a direct manifestation of tSaturn conj. nSun in natal 12th house.

One word.  FUCK…yell

I also see how the plane could represent you and it “lost lift” so it hit the lines. It’s hard to soar with Saturn sitting on you.

The year after my husband died, I had a dream of the Sandeman man (the caped and hatted silhouette on the bottle of sherry) with the words “La Moyenne” (“the medium”) on the back of his cape.

I googled the words and found a film playing currently — I don’t recall and can’t find the name of it now — went to see it.  It was three separate stories of three different men at various periods in history, perhaps reincarnated — Middle Ages, Victorian, and some time in the future — each time trying to save the life of the woman they love.  Very apropos to my obsession with my husband’s death at the time.

Are you thinking of Orlando? The Tilda Swansen movie?

This is a crazy mess I dreamed last night…..

I dreamed I was on a helicopter over the ocean but I could see land, like atolls. I was supposed to jump out so that I could be rescued. I was terrified (in real life I’m terrified of water) but I jumped when the helicopter turned slightly on its side. I remember thinking this looks a lot higher that when I have seen soldiers jump out of helicopters. (I was high up like someone jumping out of a plane but I didn’t have a parachute.)

I entered the water feet first straight as an arrow with a lot of speed wondering if I would hit any fish. The next thing I remember is holding my breath and wondering if I was still going down in the water or if I was going back up towards the surface. I raised my right arm to try to figure out if I was near the surface and my arm was all in the air above the surface so I could finally get my breath. I was rescued along with a group of men that I was associated with somehow.

This is the second time in a month I have had a dream like this.

The first dream a few weeks ago was one of my dead relatives holding a baby out to me, and then pulling it back. I really wanted the baby, but she wouldn’t give to me.

Then last night, I dreamt that I had an abortion and I aborted a baby boy (something I have always wanted).  I was screaming and crying over my mistake, pleading with God or someone to take it back, let me have the baby. And just so you know, I am pro-choice, but I don’t think I could ever have an abortion myself.

I don’t know why I keep dreaming about babies, and wanting one, and not being able to have one.

And why an abortion in a dream? Did I kill my own ‘dream’ or something inside me?

“Are you thinking of Orlando? The Tilda Swansen movie?”

Sorry, just saw this.  I googled the theme/plot and found the film — “The Fountain” with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.

In my dream, the words “La Moyenne” were embroidered in gold script on the Sandeman man’s black cape.  The movie poster shows the the title “The Fountain” in gold letters on a black background.  Perhaps I’d glimpsed the poster or ad somewhere, and my brain combined it with two other images I’d probably lingered on (the French word on packaging at work, and the black/gold image on the bottle of port in the wine aisle).  Amazing things, our brains!

Can’t say that the movie did anything for me, though cathartic at the time I suppose.  But the weird thing is that the movie came up when I googled “la moyenne” all those years ago.  No idea why.  It doesn’t anymore.

Now if I could just dream (and remember!) some lottery numbers, and use them and win… laugh

(((Goldie)))

I might interpret your dream as being about your husband — fear that despite your best efforts to improve his diet and such, you can’t control everything enough to protect his health adequately.

Also about fear of your dreams dying due to this constant vigilance and family burdens and responsibilities leaving you little time to pursue them.

Make a little time every day just for you. heart

baby dreams are very special to me, maybe in your dream it is exactly what it means: you’re not ready in some way. Maybe not now but later. this could be your spirituality.

i’ve been having a lot of dreams lately where i find myself in some dim lit, filthy, and disgusting restrooms. you know, the ones where the water you’re sloshing through is iridescent in an unpleasant way. the last one was the other night where i was on top of a tower, that was swaying back and forth, water sloshing around, trying to take a shower. it felt dirty, i felt dirty.

I get those from time to time; what are you not releasing? Is there something you cannot let go of?

(I know this is a belated response)
